I tried to grab a track off each Yes album that showed a particularly strong Squire-influence, along with samples of his other major projects, in roughly chronological order.

I don't care what you say, the title of this thread just sounds mean cause I read it as "Yes! Bass Guitarist Dead!" I kept expecting to see that kid meme where he's doing the Tiger Woods.

MESSAGE FROM CHRIS SQUIRE’S WIFE, SCOTLAND SQUIRE, 1 JULY 2015 My best friend and the love of my life Chris Squire will be cremated today in Scottsdale, Arizona at 3:00 pm. However, knowing Chris, he might be running a bit late for the event; After all, he has always been the 'late' Chris Squire. So at 3:00 pm Phoenix time, please take a moment to play your favorite Yes or Chris Squire song, or just think of your favorite Chris Squire memory. Sending my love to all, Scotland Squire
I noticed, He Who. It just read funny to me. Sorry to hear that he's passed. But at my age, a lot of my favorites are starting to go. Watched Hogfather last night and felt bad that there would be no more Discworld books, but Terry was in his sixties. So, it's a shame but life moves.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
I missed the 3 p.m. Thursday collective tribute, but I really like this song, which is credited to Anderson/Rabin/Squire. The video has appropriate cosmic images:
