9. ALL-STAR! That run was blessed with surprisingly good GA covers!
10. MS. MARVEL's boobs top Mary's space-penis!
11. JUST MARRIED. That other thing is totes phoned in.
12. MYSTERY. The other is bit THE STRAIN-ey. MYSTERY seems more original.

41. My Love. Super toughie, as a lot of the romance ones are. My Love has the better art, better design and much better cover text. But Our Love Story has a much more distraught central character and a cad who's picking up his next girlfriend in front of her! But does he have shirt/shoe coordination? 42. Queen and Country 43. Mr. District Attorney. Defender of the brain switching Gorilla Ultra Humanite! >gasp!< 44. Archie's Mad House. >chuckle<

33. DARK VICTORY. I thought this was was going to be a slam dunk in voting. Nope!
34. THE TROUBLE WITH GIRLS (1990). The League of Lesters! Hippie Lester!
35. AQUAMAN.
36. DARING ADVENTURES. Even though it's kind of a mess! The space age and Rococo fonts don't go, for one thing. The stamp clinches it, though.
37. THE BOUNCER. Gotta bounce!
38.X-TREME X-MEN. I guess. I don't really care.
39. SUPERMAN.
40. NEW ADVENTURE COMICS. More Fun gag is pretty thin. New Adventure is a pretty standard (even at that time) Old Year /Baby New Year non-gag, but the art's better and hey, there's the Big Dot.
41. OUR LOVE STORY. Composition!
42. QUEEN & COUNTRY.
43. MR. DISTRICT ATTORNEY.
44. SHE'S JOSIE. It pulverizes me!!

45. Famous Funnies - Popular has that "Just out of the Depression" desperation to the characters. What could be funnier than kids with volatile explosives? 46. Heroic - Max Brillante was a famous musician and intelligence agent before his fatal accident with the falling bassoon case. But he returned from beyond as ...The Music Master! The other cover has a bunch of balloons in it. 47. Teen-age Romances - Funnily, both Don and Kevin are seeing the blonde in the background. 48. Atom - oooh, Silver Age classics. But using the Atom to power Atomic devices is more novel than critters.

13. I kinda like both but GHOST MANOR takes it, because the crone is kinda lame looking.
14. I dislike both. I'd vote neither, but if forced-- and as I understand it, I am-- it's RUSE.
15. HOT STUFF might have won if they'd made the effort for a real infinity cover, but they didn't so I'm giving this to WENDY because DAAAAAAW.
16. I alwyas love hen Mera gets her due. AQUAMAN.

17. Both are appealing, but I'm responding better to BLACKHAWK (DC).
18. Both are terrible yet I want desperately to read the stories based on the covers, so both are successful. I'll give it to I LOVE YOU because of poor Fatty Too-Stout No Love > Glove.
19. I like both but especially like PROMETHEA.
20. ASTRO CITY is reminded me of the film YOU'RE NEXT. That's a good thing!

29. Falling in Love -- I'm intrigued by the eavesdropping pilot! 30. Superior Foes of Spider-Man -- not a huge fan of either, but I'm a little more inclined to read this one! 31. Bulletman -- I want to win a prize for naming Bulletdog! 32. Ms. Marvel -- Call her "Heck Kitty"!

21. (blank stare) Not much to work with here. BEANWORLD at least has color shifting in the background, so that steals the win barely, 'cause the other IS cute.
22. MAGIC COMICS wins. I'm assuming LOVE FIGHTS requires you to sorta know what is going on in the book to understand it. And the fact that it's dull if you don't means it is a fail for me at compelling me to want to know what takes place inside.
23. I love both but DISTRESSED EMUS 12 FTW!
24. Giffen sure knew how to make an effective LSH cover without any characters on it. See also that destroyed moon cover. Coipel gets an A for effort though. Team shots are nice but Giffen trumps here.

33. Batman: Dark Victory -- Scary Two-Face! 34. The Trouble With Girls (1988) -- Adventures Comics #300 homages are love! 35. Aquaman -- Giant seahorses rule! 36. Daring Adventures -- Stamps + the Phantom Lady = win!

25. I love both but the puppy takes the win for LOVERS' LANE
26. Both turn me off, but HERBIE FTW because Gorilla.
27. The cartoony art of YOUNG HEROES IN LOVE played jarringly and very well on the serious events inside, such as Hardware's going totally cracker-crusted shitball nuts.
28. Both have pluses and minuses. Forced to choose one I choose CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED (HEADLESS HORSEMAN).

29. The origin of Jennifer Warnes' 70s soft rock smash FTW. Loving you both is breaking all the rules. Even more than we originally thought, because those dudes are TWINS.
30. I like the design of both, but SUPERIOR FOES/SPIDER Man for the win.
31. I LOVE BOTH and want to call it a tie. But realistically, that beautiful CAPTAIN MARVEL cover must trump Bulletgirl appearing.
32. I'm sorta into both. This one is toughest of the bunch. The colors of Ms Marvel want me to call it for her but the Iron Man one has a quiet beauty. This exact issue of MS. MARVEL just went into my yard sale comics box. So I'll give it to her as a last hurrah.

33. CASE FILES. So realistic looking!
34. TROUBLE WITH GIRLS Adventure homage of course. I will be surprised if this one isn't a total shutout.
35. Cardy AQUAMAN
36. Not as easy for me to choose as the others. DARING has Phantom Lady which is usually an instant win but she looks very ARCHIE COMICS GROUP here (which is kinda cool). I *love* the name JOHNNY DYNAMITE and there's no word balloon to mess up that j'awesome art. Dare I? I do dare. DRAW.

37. THE BOUNCER. Yeah he bounces alright... up and down on a bunch of great big {deleted}.
38. YAS trumps white background
39. SUPERMAN (I've never seen that cover before)
40. NEW ADVENTURE COMICS. Totes vintage year on the cover, non white background.

41. I feel another tie. BOTH ARE MAGNIFICENT. IF PRESSED... REALLY REALLY HARD... I give the edge for the word-baloonless masterpiece MY LOVE.
42. HAWKEYE appeals to my love for trippy art.
43. I DEFEND MY LOVE FOR THE COVER PROCLAIMING I DEFENDED THE MONKEY MAN.
44. I like both (Josie's long forgotten pal Pepper~~~~!!) but the gag on MAD HOUSE is better. I like the art on JOSIE better though. Both have terrible white backgrounds. I think more effort went into JOSIE, so that FTW.

45. Both are just a skoch primitive for my taste, but I did a literal LOL at the gag on FAMOUS FUNNIES, so that.
46. I *want* to give it to 7SV but can't. HEROIC COMICS.
47. Quite a glare there on TEEN AGE, but it's too yappy. GOING STEADY for the win.
48. HAWKMAN. Atom cover is dull, and that premise shouldn't be.

37. THE BOUNCER -- The Daredevil is about a million times cooler super-hero than the Bouncer, but I totes prefer this cover!
38. THE YOUNG ALL-STARS -- They just look groovier!
39. SUPERMAN -- Forget Lana and Lois, Lori Lemaris is Love!
40. MORE FUN COMICS -- Mostly because I find the other one a bit creepy!

41. MY LOVE -- Not an easy one, but this one has the whole mystery of why she can't be with him, which intrigues me, while the other one is basically just "he loves someone else", which is pretty common. 42. HAWKEYE -- just looks cool! 43. MR. DISTRICT ATTORNEY -- I want to hear why he defended the Monkey Man! 44. SHE'S JOSIE -- I like the gag on the other one, but this one has a lot more than just the one gag!

45. POPULAR COMICS -- for moral reasons!
46. HEROIC COMICS -- Like 'em both but this one is just awesome!
47. GOING STEADY -- Love the shot from inside the fireplace!
48. ATOM -- Atom gun thingie is cute, but I'm really intrigued by the Edgar Allan Poe appearance!
