My tastes are eclectic. I do understand where cleome is coming from. Most people I know can be very dismissive of other peoples' tastes.

Obviously, what I like is awesome and everything else isn't.

It's actually kind of funny when people talk about going to concerts, they invariably mean rock concerts or the like, which are typically held in stadiums or other large venues. The only such concert I ever went to was a John Denver concert when I was in college. All other concerts I've been to have been either been coffee-house type or else symphonic, choral, or chamber.

I went to a couple of concerts in high school, though most were heavy metal concerts and had really rowdy crowds.

There are so many older bands doing the rounds again, that I'm getting to more concerts recently than for quite a while.

I haven't been to a concert in years. There are very few artists that would interest me enough.

I'd definitely go to see Charli XCX in concert if she came my way.

If Savage Garden ever reunited and had a concert, I would love to be there.

My idea of a battle of the bands would be Anonymous 4 vs. Chanticleer.

I believe Chanticleer was the rooster who sang to make the sun rise.

The San Francisco-based men's vocal ensemble was named after the rooster.

Treat Williams starred in the movie version of the hippie musical "Hair."

My hair is really messy if I don't use hair product. But because of all the overtime, I end up falling asleep without washing my hair

I don't have hair. I started going bald in my early 20s. By about age 27, I had to learn creative combing. At 32, I started shaving my head. I've had a goatee for 19 years. It's staying.

I still have (what seems to be) a full head of hair, but my dad and paternal uncles are all bald. So are both my grandparents. I have a maternal uncle who is not bald, though.

If I'm not mistaken, the gene for baldness is carried on the mom's side of the family. Unless your mom is heterozygous for that gene, you should hopefully keep all your hair, Ibby.

There are worse fates than baldness. I never quite got how losing his hair made Luthor evil, but I guess we're not supposed to understand Silver Age logic.

I've always preferred the pre-Crisis Luthor origin to the post-Crisis Kingpin knockoff version.

Hmmm... I guess I'll be bald before I finally manage to kill off these threads. I wonder if my old auto-response generator still works?
