I've never understood why that Hunter guy wore the pigtails. They just look silly.

But go better with the school uniform he wears under the animal hides.

I have a weird theory that he uses his pigtails to make wild animals think he's really an animal himself! Maybe they're prehensile pigtails, but he didn't reveal that so poor Spider-Girl wouldn't feel useless.

I don't eat pig's tails or any pork. Someone once asked if it was for religious reasons. I replied that I'm Episcopalian and the only food law we have is against eating one's salad with one's dinner fork.

Tee hee. Most people here in the Philippines just use a spoon and fork and knife.

I actually enjoy eating with chopsticks. I do whenever I have the opportunity.

I've tried teaching my mom how to use chopsticks, but she always just ends up using a fork instead.

Chopsticks are okay. Some of my friends are still amazed when I use them.

Some things are just easier with chopsticks.

Several years ago, I went to dinner with a friend at a Chinese restaurant (now gone) in Houston's Chinatown. She and I were the only non-Asian persons in the restaurant. The waitress kept asking us if we wanted forks. We both declined. Finally, the waitress just set two forks on the table. My friend picked up a fork with her chopsticks and asked "Does it look like we need them?".

One of my earliest memories is Dad attempting to teach me how to pick up shrimp with chopsticks. We had driven a long way to a fancy wedding reception, and everyone was stuck in the dining tent because of torrential midsummer rain.

Today would be my father's birthday if he were still alive. He would be eighty-one.

I was not the most coordinated child in the world. It's a good thing my folks both had a good sense of humor.

I have to say that although my family is far from perfect, we laughed a lot. There was a lot of good humor in our house.

My maternal grandfather had a lot of faults (I don't think it's a coincidence that all three of his daughters -- my mother and my aunts -- had failed first marriages), but he had good qualities, too, including a great sense of humor.

My dad and his siblings are all quite noisy and outgoing. They nearly all ended up marrying quieter types.

My dad is very loud and outgoing and my mom is a bit more reserved except with her very close friends. I guess I fall more towards my mom's side.

I look more like my mom. Personality-wise, I'm a mix.
