There was a sugary breakfast cereal in the '70s called Grins & Smiles & Giggles & Laughs. It was shaped like little smiley faces.

I heard it's cos everyone's a millionaire. LOL I love Supertramp. Like so many British bands, they brought an insightful outsider's perspective to America.

I grew up on American culture. The Philippines has been influenced so much by the USA.

If everyone in Texas is a millionaire, then I'll have to move.

I live about 11 miles from Sugar Land, Texas. I used to live in Sugar Land until I was 13 and then I moved to Missouri City.

I've only been to Austin twice. The first time was less than a year ago. In September, I'll have been in Texas for 17 years.

At age 17, I got into superhero comics, thanks largely to DC's then-current Armageddon 2001 event.

I got into comics when I read an issue of Amazing Spider-man from the JMS run when I was 8 during a trip to India

I was also around 7 or 8 when I first started reading comics.
I have never been to India. I very much want to visit.

I should clarify, I've been reading comics since before I could walk, but I very, very rarely read superhero comics until I was 17.

Something else else I've always found odd about funny animal comics is that the Disney comics were much better than the Disney cartoons, while the Warner Bros cartoons were much better than the Warner Bros comics.

I'm fond of the Disney cartoons from the late 90's like Darkwing Duck and Duck Tales.

I very much liked Duck Tales. Their movie, Treasure of the Lost Lamp (I hope I got it right) was very high-quality.

I haven't had a chance to compare. I should check out the Disney comics.
