Last time I visited Massachusetts, I visited the cemetery where all four of my grandparents are buried.

I am the eldest grandchild on both sides of the family. All my grandparents are still alive. They mean well but they constantly pester me to get a higher-paying job, find a good wife and produce great-grandchildren.

I was the eldest grandson (and fourth eldest grandchild after my sisters) on both sides. I had all four grandparents till I was about 29. Both grandmothers died the same year.

On Happy Days Fonzie's apparent telekinetic powers were attributed to his being "cool", if any explanation was ever given.

There were episodes where he merely knew the right place to tap the jukebox to make it turn on. There were others where he was pretty much omnipotent. Such inconsistency! shrug

Happy Days was the source of the phrase "jumping the shark" when Fonzie jumped over sharks with water skis.

He logged into LW on the 11th. In RL, he and his husband have a baby, so I imagine that takes a goodly bit of their time. smile

Facebook. Feh. The art on the Legion one is nice and all, but I still find FB (and its ownership) to be creepy and obnoxious.

One of the most bizzare kaiju films to come out of Japan in the 1960's was "The X from Outer Space" which featured Gilala, the space chicken:

My favorite fried chicken is from a Guatemalan chain called Pollo Campero.

I want to make some cut-up chicken "oven-fried" style next weekend. It's decadent, but less messy than using deep fat. You can bake the chicken with biscuits in the same pan. The steam from the meat helps keep the biscuits from drying out! drool

I don't expect to have time for much cooking this weekend, though. There's too much other stuff to do.
