Ah, Kiddo. If you're gonna' stay healthy, you have to have your sleep.

I actually try going to bed earlier in the evening now. Ever since I went back to working full-time, "standard" office hours in January. But my body outwits me and I just end up waking up earlier. shake I've experimented with drinking less coffee, changing when I eat meals, etc. But nothing helps. Maybe if I could start doing Yoga again...

Sleep of course means dreaming.

I just had a dream about either sending stuff to our from (dreams, of course, are inconsistent), my Aunt Paulene, my mother's sister, at her condo in a row house in Boston's Back Bay. There were several men's shirts among her things that belonged to me, but I could not have them. Funny thing, of course, is that my mother doesn't have a sister named Paulene. She looked a lot like a woman I worked with years ago, but whose name I can't remember.

Most dreams aren't remembered. Studies say the best way to remember one is to keep a notepad beside your bed and right in it upon waking up.

One of the reasons I posted the Aunt Paulene dream here was so I would remember it.

A programme I listened to last night said that PTSD - applying electrical current through your grey matter - might help lucid dreaming.

No, it was mainstream radio - he typed twitching after trying to follow instructions at 3 in the morning. wink

I'm only trying that if somebody else here tries it first.

One of the "independent researchers"* was someone who was into smart drugs. So, that's okay then.

The Canadian dollar coin has a loon on the reverse, so it is called a "loonie". The two dollar coin is called a "toonie".

When I was little, I was confused by Daffy being a boy and Daphne (Scooby-Doo) being a girl.

There was once a commercial with Foghorn Leghorn saying how delicious Campbell's new chicken alphabet soup was. That was just a bit creepy.

That reminds me of how strange I thought it was for Goofy and Pluto to exist in the same universe.

A human-sized anthropomorphic mouse owning a non-anthropomorphic dog: Now that's creepy!

His owning a cat would probably be even weirder!

Maybe what Stalgie was getting at was, how come Pluto is a dog but acts like a pet? Yet Goofy is clearly a dog, but acts like a human and wears clothes and stuff? (I wondered about that too!)

Is it some form of slavery? Perhaps Goofy and Pluto are different breeds of dogs and Pluto's breed is deemed to be less evolved so they're used as pets?

Maybe I'm overthinking this. tongue

I would guess they are actually different species. I would guess it's really no weirder for Goofy than my Martian friend owning a pet monkey would be for me.

Or Pluto is a feral member of Goofy's species, and Mickey is caring for him out of the goodness of his heart. .. Nah

The great thing about Legion World: No one batted an eye when EDE said this.

I'm just bummed that EDE is pals with the Martian Manhunter, but has never introduced me to him.
