I was exposed to the JLA/JLE (post-Breakdowns incarnation) and Super Friends at about the same time. I was an adult before I realized that DC considered Flash and Green Lantern to be more important. When Hanna-Barbera got the rights in the '70s, they used the same characters. At least they added Wonder Woman.
