4 Legionnaires - Dream Girl, Sun Boy, Colossal Boy, Shadow Lass - trapped in various cells relating to their powers. Dream Girl finds an opportunity to switch minds so they can use their skills to escape

Dream Girl and Colossal Boy switch. Nura's martial skills enable her to beat a strength/size limiting cage.
Sun Boy and Shadow Lass switch. Shady does not have the same fear of darkness and uses Dirk's solar powers to bust everyone out.

Validus is hungry! Pick 3 Legionnaires who can and will feed Validus the Energon cubes he needs to survive. Make sure they can handle the potential beast.

I picture this as the Legionnaires being trapped individually in a cage that is immune to their individual powers and the way to escape is if they can switch their bodies and powers.

The first Legionnaire would be the White Witch, who cage is immune to magical attack. However, she has one emergency spell which will allow them to switch bodies and powers. The White Witch finds herself in Mon-el's body trapped in a lead cage that has weakened him. A magic spell of transmutation changes the lead into oxygen and she is free.

Mon-el finds himself in the body of Cosmic Boy and easily busts out of the wooden cage that thwarted CB's magnetism

Cosmic Boy takes over the body of Lightning Lass who's cage consisted of grounded iron.

And of course Lightning Lass is able to blast her way out of the the cage meant to hold the White Witch.

Emergency! The Time Trapper has created another pocket universe in which there is not Rook Krinn, Garth Ranzz, or Imra Ardeen. Which three Legionnaires save RJ Brande from being assassinated (and how did they do it) and become the new Founders?

Kinetix, XS and Gates meet ata summer camp for UP young leaders. When the assassins pull out their weapons, XS reacts super quick and disarms them. Kinetix wraps them up and Gates teleports Brande to safety. And a legend is born...

Sensor Girl could defy senses and appear as any number of villains. Let's say Esper Lass or Saturn Queen, knocking out the tattling psychic and feigning telepathy with clairvoyance.

Wildfire wears a new suit to look like a Tarok android or new, armored villain.

Tellus has a fin up on the competition when it comes to processing liquids (if he can swim through methane, then vodka should not be a problem)

Shrinking Violet is the final member of the team. Her experience undercover and the fact that she has appeared a few times in bars makes her an ideal choice.

The Infinite Man is causing problems during the American Civil War while he looks for a hidden artifact. Pick 5 Legionnaires who could fit in at the time and outmaneuver the Infinite Man.

Cosmic Boy has a good knowledge of "ancient" history.

Saturn Girl can find him and delay him with her telepathy.

Live Wire and Element Lad both fit in and can help delay him.

Mon-El definitely fits in and can move fast enough to blast the Infinite Man with some time travel ray thingie.

Shadow Lass isn't scared of the dark and her shadow powers will balance out Sun Boy

Timber Wolf has the speed, power and determination to face his former friends, even his best friend Karate Kid

In the end, teamwork wins the day for the Legion

Chameleon makes good use of his powers to pretend to eat things. As does Sensor. Both will remain relatively safe if their cover is blown.

I'll throw in XS, who can run away from danger, and use super-speed sleight of hand to pretend to eat things.

Apparition and Violet round out the group, if their covers get blown they can escape safely. They'll have a harder time pretending to eat things, so they go with Sensor.

Matter Eater Lad - good for morale, also very difficult to stop, can get out of most prisons

Sensor Girl - broad mystic senses and stern, regal demeanor will get them through to the end

Invisible Kid II - also good for morale, plus he's a perfect stealth scout

Chemical Kid - broad utility in powers (from survival to offense), and it would be a good defining moment for him

Comet Queen - Good for morale, also she can survive in a number of environs well and is good for giving cover
