Too bad, I felt it was actually pretty good.

I saw that one this summer. I think it's one of the more forgettable entries into the franchise. It's not bad by any means, far from it. However, the plot is simply a means to bring Spock back to life, making it more of a plot point in an overall story rather than a self contained work itself.

The Voyage Home is probably my second favorite of all the original cast films. It had a great mix of humor and heart that made it stand out among the other much more serious films in the series.

I hated Into Darkness. It was a cheap retread of the much better Wrath of Khan and had no interesting ideas of its own. Add on the fact that I still hate that this alternate Trek timeline is now being supported as the main one over the original.

It does seem like a needless reboot.

Yep, that's the one! Despite it being the first film, the pacing is terrible and it tries way too hard to be 2001: A Space Odyssry.

Your turn, Ibby!

Cool! I read that for the earlier films, every odd numbered one was bad while every even numbered one was good?

New Q up soon!

I remember the first one as having a very ambitious plot, and being visually excellent. On the other hand I remember the fourth one as a can of dog food travelling through space and being a bit cringe worthy. :-)
