"Loser team" was a bit biasing but nice poll. I was interested in this myself. Two were very clear in my mind. The third choice I had to pick from two and I see in its infancy, the poll is following suit.

Ah, but you'll notice I threw in a dis of the alleged "real" Legion too! Equal-opportunity potential bias-making!

I wanted to pick Cub Nah's hormonal imballance, but haaaad to vote for the Black Witch. (Is she an evil Lord of Order or a good Lord of Chaos? Let's take a look.)

Actually, I still want to know what really happened to the Legion. Because L3W did not deal with that.
And of course 5YL, the real original Legion.

I want the Wanderers and the Witch.

You know, she really looks a lot like she did when she first did the 5YL merg with Amethyst only her hair is straight rather than curly.

Her last line is evil beware, so at least SHE thinks she's on the good side of things.

But then again, she's nuts.

I picked a few of the more meaty ones, but really I'm not so interested in any of 'em. How about a story where the Legion has to defeat some kind of interesting science-fiction-ish threat that we've never seen before by using teamwork and intelligence?

Not looking so good for Adventure back-up stories. Johns better get some of his sychophants voting.

All meaness aside, I am surprised the Sunboy-Polarboy teammate isn't getting more of those third place votes and I personally thought more would look forward to the 21st century stories of Tellus and Starboy being wrapped up, though others voting might see those as part of the ME-Lad vote.

I just voted the Sun Boy / Polar Boy as my "third" as well, before noticing your post. I think Johns did a good job making me interested in seeing them team-up more.

Also looking forward to the Star Boy subplot. For every year that passes before its revealed, my expectations increase exponentially laugh

Wildfire & Dawny on their new 'path' to a serious relationship didn't make the list? Probably a good thing.

I went with the Witch as well as my top choice. Maybe this poll will decide the content of the Adventure Comics annual?

Just had a thought: If Brainy decides to get a bee-hive hair style, wouldn't that be an interesting plot twist?

Some of these don't feel like 'plot threads' so much as 'done in ones.'

The Black Witch? There's a story there, but one that, IMO, should be left to simmer a bit before diving into.

The Wanderers? There's a story.

The search for the missing eight? Story, and one that should be top priority, since it will get increasingly ludicrous if dragged out. "Element Lad's been missing for six years now, and I guess we should get off of our generously padded asses and send some people to go find him..."

Duplicate Damsel and Ball Boy return? That pretty much happened, didn't it? They could be active members *during* one of the stories above, but their return to active duty (or XS and Gates being on the team, or Sun Boy and Polar Boy getting into some buddy-cop situations) sounds like stuff that should be happening during one of the above stories.

The Witch is a must! I figure we're going to get info on the missing legionnaires eventually since they're part of the primary team. I might be happy to see the Wanderers in their own series and hope Grant Morrison will include them in his multiverse project.

There wasn't place for it in #5, but I'd have liked to see some interaction between the three teams in the weeks after defeating Prime, when they were rebuilding things. There must have been some socializing. Where did everyone crash ? Were there brief and heart-breaking romances? Has the youngest Legion been influenced by the experiences of their older counterparts? How did Legion-247 come to the decision to enter the multiverse?

30 votes in, and a definite top 3 have emerged, with the # 1 pick garnering what appears to be an undefeatable lead!

Hurry! less than 3 weeks to vote! smile

I certainly hope Morrison includes them!
What a wonderful hope!

Don't buy 'the Dancer(s)' and 'Escape' on the chance you might see the Wanderers.

The minis are aftermath stories from Final Crisis but they're more like afterBIRTH stories, imo.
ugh

And I would LOVE to see a special on how the Legions worked with each other rebuilding those parts of the future.
That would be a great, great episode in their lives.

I hope it's not another missed opportunity.

I blush while admitting that I don't recall the third option I voted for!

I *know* I picked The Wanderers and the search for lost teammates, but did I pick the Superboy-Prime/Prime Legion (time to put the terms reboot and inaccurately numbered threeboot to bed for good, now) fight or the new Fire 'n' Ice?

I definitely didn't pick Green Lanterns in the 31st century, as I don't particularly care for the concept, even when Rond was the secret earth Lantern (though I liked his costume, and the way his hidden ID was revealed).

Or maybe I picked Black Witch? Anyone else think that eventually some White will come back out and we'll end up with Gray Witch? Or maybe Silver Witch?

I'm curious about where the Wanderers will pop up. MULTIVERSITY would seem like the likeliest bet, outside of ADVENTURE, possibly. I'll pick up both, but I confess the prospect of Morrison writing a LSH he can do anything he wants with frightens me. And not in a good way.

If he approachs it the way he wrote JLA, it'll be great. If it's more X-Men, I'm sure I'll hate and love aspects of it simultaneously, with the dislike leaving the strongest aftertaste.

Are people voting for Black Witch simply because it seems like the only REAL Legion-styled story - in the sense that it would appeal to any kind of fan here (ADV, Levitz, Shooter, Giffen or Reboot ones)?

Are you asking for 28 (presently) separate replys or was this a rhetorical presumption on why you think people are voting for a "Black Witch" story?

In the case of the former, for me it isn't the only REAL Legion-styled story on the list. It is the new character that I'd most like a writer to expand upon because the concept interests me.

In the case of the latter, never mind. smile

Not really. White Witch wasn't even *in* the recent Shooter stories, for instance. She hasn't been present for several storylines / eras I've enjoyed.

I just wouldn't mind seeing more about how magic in the 31st century has changed (and how it's stayed the same), and can tolerate limited crossover potential between 20th century magical elements at the 30th century (such as when Darkseid tapped the power of various artifacts, including the Helmet of Nabu, during the Great Darkness Saga).

Plus Mysa, and Blok, are an interesting pair of characters, and it could be neat to see how their relationship evolves, or dies, given the nature of her changes. Nura, as well, should also be integrally tied into any plotline involving her sister's decent into darkness, and she's also a favorite.

But I'm also just as keen to see the return of missing Legionnaires.
