Hi LegionWorlders! Just made an account, though I've been lurking for a bit.
Big comic book fan, all time favorite is probably Neil Gaiman's Sandman, but the Legion is by far my favorite super hero comic.
Hard to pin down a favorite era. I'd pick 5 year gap if I had to pick one. SW6 Legionnaires, too. Anything with the Bierbaums really. Also love silver age silly era. Also loved the post-boot Legion. Yes, even Lori Morning. I kind of lost interest in the Legion shortly after the Waid reboot.
Am looking forward to see what convergence brings. And looking forward to being part of this board!
Don't forget to take your Fun-Fun!

Welcome to Legion World!
I find that one of the best things about this site is that, due to the mutual respect between posters, all Legion eras are given equal weight and constructive evaluations. I'd never read an issue of the Post-Boot era before I came here, and now it's one of my favorite eras.

Andy 43 years old Sea Cliff, NY (on Long Island) University Professor who teaches classes in Health (mostly HIV and ethics) and Culture (mostly comic books and porn) I've loved the legion since I was a kid reading the Shooter stuff and idolized the Levitz/Giffen era
Was here for a while about 10 years ago. Since then, I've moved back East, finished a PhD, and finally gotten around to coming back to this space. Miss y'all

Thanks! I missed this space
My classes are cool. And to be honest, I'm still shocked that I'm ALLOWED and ENCOURAGED to teach these classes.

And a slightly belated welcome back, Andy. Our paths barely crossed when you stopped posting ten years ago. I'm glad to have you back.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

Hey there! I'm Emerson, and I lurked around here at least a decade ago, and wanted to get back in and maybe talk a little more. Favorite era has to be 5YL/TMK run, and favorites include Tenzil, Chuck, Andy, Condo, Vi, Tayla, Berta and Grava (also Kono and Devlin...sorry, it's a helluva list...). I help moderate a Dreamwidth-based Legion Game, which I assure you I will subject ya'll to art and stuff from

Hi Emerson glad you decided to become more active! That is a great list of faves. Chuck and Berta are major faves of mine too and so is Condo. Looking forward to your art!

Thank ya'll for the welcome! And I help design them, but they are done by different people that I need to attribute properly to! I get em done mainly for the Legion game I help with, or a Legion AU history I've been fiddling with for years on and off.

Cool! Some other posters here are also into games. Emily Sivana runs quite a few simple tournaments, while Phantom Girl is active in RPGs.
