I visited it once too, way way back in 2004. I remember being amazed at how grand it was. Sadly I did not have enough time to really drink in the exhibits.

The Smithsonian Institution is often erroneously called the "Smithsonian Institute". oooh, lazy me would probably have done that. Now, however, I can be a smug git and tut when other people do it Fools! How could they not know?

I aspire to be smug git who tuts people. That just sounds cool.

If he'd had something decent in those skinny cigarettes, he might have been more cheerful, though probably still evil.

If only he weren't evil. He could have been like my kindly old uncle.

I really dislike Oswald Cobblepot. People often assume because I like penguins that I must like him. Nope.

I aspire to be smug git who tuts people. That just sounds cool. The advanced course teaches you how to roll your eyes in synch with the tutting.

There's also a special rhythm to the tutting. When done properly it sounds quite melodious.

When I sing I find I want to intuit rhythm and think about pitch. I sing much better when I intuit pitch and think about rhythm.

I have had no formal musical training at all, so I have only a very tenuous grasp of what things like melody, rhythm and pitch are. I am told I have a nice voice though.

I have learned a lot from singing with other people who sing better than I do.

I haven't learned much as I usually sing with people who are louder, but not necessarily better

Bugs Bunny speaks loudly and carries a big stick.
Yosemite Sam speaks louder and carries a bigger stick.

Erasure titled one of their albums "I Say I Say I Say". I don't know whether the Foghorn Leghorn reference was intentional or not.

Many years ago, Foghorn Leghorn appeared in a commercial for Campbell's soup, saying how good the chicken alphabet soup was. That was just a little creepy.

Campbell's chicken noodle soup used to be my favorite winter meal when I was younger.
Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

Foghorn Leghorn was always feuding with the Looney Tunes' barnyard dog.
I've always wished we could "hear" Snoopy's thoughts in the Peanuts animated cartoons, in a voice similar to the Looney Tunes' barnyard dog.

The animated adaptations of the stage musicals You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Snoopy were the only cartoons made where Snoopy's thoughts were voiced.

In one episode of Murphy Brown, she finds out they're doing a TV show based on her, and that they're calling her fictional analog "Kelly Green."
