I've been told the best look for me is close-cropped hair and a circle beard.

I've been trying a new conditioner lately which has significantly moisturized my normally very dry hair.

That was the run that made me a Green Lantern fan! smile

I hate to interrupt this manly grooming direction, but, I just put up the 1984 Preview for the Wein & Gibbons Green lantern run in this post for BraJa.

Thanks for that link, thoth! I loved the development of the Ferris employees and the Jason Bloch subplot during that era. So much exciting stuff happening and great Dave Gibbons art to boot!

I wouldn't say my hair is silky smooth yet, but it's been improving for sure.

But grooming IS manly now! Why, we have to discuss getting the right haircut, choosing the right moisturizer, manscaping, matching our socks to our belts...

Eh, let's leave manscaping out of our discussions. wink

Isn't there a "things we must discuss" thread? This thread is the absence of things under discussion thread wink

I barely match my socks to my other socks each day, so "manscaping" may be lost on me...

I have to shave every three days, but sometimes, if I have no client meetings, I just let it grow.

I shave my face every day--except for the goatee. It's a very rare day off--such as a day when I'm home sick--that I don't shave. I've had the goatee since 1996. Everyone who has met me in the last 19 years--that includes everyone I knew in grad school and everyone I've met since I moved to Houston--has only known me with a goatee.

There are very few pics of me on FB without a goatee. The only one taken since 1996 is of me the one time I did drag. My drag queen name (I may have only done it once, but I had a name) is Rita Book. I think everyone, regardless of gender, should have a drag queen name and a drag king name. My drag king name is Rusty Bedsprings.

My drag queen name is Maxima Prime.

Maxima was one of my favorite new characters created for the post-Crisis Superman.

Maxima was one of my favorites, too. What really made me a fan of hers was the Armageddon 2001 tie-in/alternate future story in Adventures of Superman Annual #3 by Weezie Simonson and Bryan Hitch.

I haven't read many of the Armageddon 2001 tie ins, beyond the Flash one.

The Flash one is another favorite of mine. Also the L.E.G.I.O.N., Batman, and Action Comics tie-ins.

L.E.G.I.O.N. is one of those series I still need to read at some point. It looks really cool, but I have so much other stuff sitting on my desk at home that I need to finish first!

Thanks Fanfie!

Is the entire series great or does it taper off at any point?

IMO, the peak is issues 14-31, then it tapers off, then it gets really good again from 48 to 55, then it goes into freefall.

Was "Phase" in that series actually a time displaced Phantom Girl or a Carggite body?
