Boo that Cockrum got voted down. No question here now, Sensor Girl all the way.
(Now can we assume you'll skip the New Krypton and v6. Senor Girl outfits, 'cuz those aren't winning squat).

I honestly did NOT expect original Sensor Girl to run away with this one. Interesting. i'll leave it open a day or two more though.

Sensor Girl! Exciting new powers, great new attitude, some cleverness (an illusionist not *advertising* how her powers worked and making them useless), and a cool costume that managed to be sexy and powerful and show not a single inch of skin.
And one of the very rare masked Legionnaires (along with Ferro Lad and Wildfire, both of whom had other reasons to wear a mask than concealing their identity!).
I did like the scene in the threeboot where Jeckie tells the guy that she will be making an illusion, but he still won't be able to do anything about it.

I did like the scene in the threeboot where Jeckie tells the guy that she will be making an illusion, but he still won't be able to do anything about it. That was pretty awesome, although that character had a different sort of powerset than our 'classic' Jeckie. (Psychic illusions, as opposed to 'magical holograms.') Illusion powers are wonky like that. Some illusions are psychic, and therefore your own brain is generating them (and the illusionist, such as Mirage, of the New Mutants, doesn't even have to know what they look like!), others are 'holograms' of light (and sound, sometimes) and the illusion-creator has to get them right (and they can be seen on television, etc., which psychic illusions wouldn't be...). From a tactical standpoint, each has advantages and limitations. Holograms can affect robots or people with fantastic mental shielding, but require some artistic skill on the part of the creator, and might not fool people with other senses, like a radar sense or a keen sense of smell. Psionic illusions affect the mind, and therefore it doesn't matter what senses you have, since your brain is perceiving the illusion, but distant viewers (out of range of whatever psionic signal you are broadcasting) might not perceive the illusions at all (and wonder why everyone near you is running around and shooting at something they can't see)! Comics illusionists haven't always done the best job of clarifying which sort of 'illusion' powers their characters have...

LEGION WORLD HAS SPOKEN. And it has said quite loudly that it likes giant shoulder-pads and huge flop-overy leg boots! SO let's see how this costume face-off fares!

The original Sensor Girl costume for me. The Giffen one looks like Cobra Commander in drag.

As kid chaos once said, think how boring it would be if we agreed on everything.

I like the lavender and the dark blue and the mask of the Giffen design, but not the raspberry or the poufy sleeves or the oh-so-90's pouches that everybody was wearing.
Lightle's design wins it for me, once again. (It was Lightle, right? Not LaRocque?)

Yes, it was Lightle.
LaRocque, much as I love him, didn't really contribute anything of importance.

Magic Wars!
Now *that* looks like something royalty would wear!
Super-bonus points for finally giving us Lightle's original vision of solid face mask!

I loves em both but I'm gonna vote for Magic Wars Jeckie just because it's a more unconventional costume. I really love how asymmetrical it is and that cape on one side.

Original Sensor Girl. It is the total facelessness of the Giffen look that makes me go 'no thanks'

7-4 in favor of Original look Sensor Girl, so far. I'm glad to see this round isn't a complete runaway yet. I'm keeping this open for a few days!

It is kind of cool that Costume Face-Off is having it's first battle of two costumes that totally cover the face.
