I recently bought a new laptop during the summer, but I kept the old one as a backup in my dorm.

I have never had Office on my desktop at home. It has Open Office.

We are supposed to transition to Microsoft Office 2013 at work. I dread the learning curve.

Microsoft seems to update its products every few years for little reason, other than making money.

I haven't liked any new versions of Microsoft Office. I've always preferred the 2003 version.

I've not long over to 2010, but I get the same use out of it as I did with 2003. My biggest change was moving from Microsoft Chalk-'n-Slate to MS Parchment.

Microsoft would be a great brand name for Imskian shampoo.

Shampoo is a somewhat overrated but somewhat estimable movie originally released in 1975.

Imskian is right. At the job I just finished, some of the computers had the latest version of MS, and I could barely read anything in Outlook without my nose almost pushed up against the screen.

I actually bought shampoo AND conditioner last month! I guess that means the "recovery" is really, really for super-real this time! [does victory lap]

I shave my head in the shower, lathering up first with shampoo.

This most recent job I had featured a lot of dudes with goatees who shaved their heads. I wonder if that's a post-Breaking Bad thing... Or maybe it's a thing with guys who work in software companies. So many questions.

I've had a goatee since 1996 and have shaved my head since 2002. Then Breaking Bad comes on and people start asking "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Walter White?" I usually respond with "Yes. I love being told I look like a fictional criminal."

I've never seen the show and now have no desire to see it.

Same here, Rocky. I've never been huge on serial dramas.

Me neither. I hate having to watch every single episode. I also dislike dramas because TV is, for me, escape. Give me comedy or action.

That's how I am with movies. For me, I like media as fantasy escapism. That's why I generally only watch science fiction and fantasy movies, with the occasional horror or comedy movie mixed in.

Someone at my work recommended a crime drama for me to watch.

I tuned in five minutes early on another channel to see the end of something where a guy beats someone to death with an ironing board. True story apparently.

Then it's the programme where there's a shooting in a gang riddled community. 30 mins later and the main character is sitting in a darkened house. She's pretending that no one's there, because the house has been vandalised outside. The reason is due to her hiding the evidence of the crime, when she found out her son was involved.

Bleak and horrible. Apparently, there are a lot of shows like this. No more Comedy Central for me I thought.

Glad it wasn't the news channel.
