We have a local joint called Crown Q that could set you up.

I actually ordered the Chicken & Waffle plate last time I was there, though. It's a good thing I had help eating it, or they would have needed to get me home using a handtruck. [burrrp!]

Coincidentally, I tried out a chicken and waffles restaurant today. It was pretty good, though I struggled to finish it. The chicken was fried to perfection though.

I've never had chicken and waffles. It wouldn't be on my diet, anyway!

I will probably never have sexy abs in this lifetime. I'm just going for semi-svelte.

A friend of mine who is a fitness nut told me that the key to getting chiseled abs is doing 5 sets of crunches every day and a diet of virtually no fat.

Hardly seems worth it. When I'm dead, my abs will be worm food regardless of how firm and lean they are. When I'm dead, I won't have anymore access to catfish po-boys, either.

I think I'll stick to running on the elliptical. You flail for 35 minutes and kill 400 plus calories.

The diet is very important to get sexy abs. They have to be unearthed from under the layer of fat.

I do agree with cleome in that I don't want to deprive myself just to get abs.

Agreed, Ibby. Though I admire folks with that kind of discipline, I know that I would rather be able to enjoy life as well. I'm trying to find a balance.

Yes, it does require a lot of discipline. Of course, some folks also happen to be genetically gifted. For example, Blaze does not have to omit rice or bread from his diet as he has a faster metabolism and leaner body type than I do. Even if he eats mostly fast food his upper abs still show!

I'll admit that I'm attracted to a body type that I'll probably never come close to having. shrug

I still can't tell if I'm a mesomorph or an endomorph. Blaze says I'm a mesomorph, but I was really fat before so I really do not know.

If Endomorph isn't about bitchin' weaponry teleporting onto body then I'm not playing smile

If you're an ectomorph do you get a free Ghostbuster proton pack?

And so the thread ended on the various comments that could have followed the introduction of eating ectoplasm...
