Dru's body is host to all sorts of nasty diseases from all over the galaxy (to which she is herself immune, of course!). I assume she purposely "infects" herself with all kinds of things to have her disposal!

This is what I know about Infectious Lass.
(1) There is not need for Drura to return from being lost in time for there to be an Infectious Lass in the Legion. There is a planetful of Somathurans with the same powers.
(2) If Earth Man were to absorb Somathuran powers, he would be entirely immune to any bizarre disease Infectious Lass might throw at him.
For twelve hours.
Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

But after that twelve hours, the symptoms of space-herpes strike!

Of course, as Sketchy, mentioned earlier in the thread, there's at least two other Somahturians off-planet. Originally posted by Sketch Lad: I love the passage about Drura in Who's Who:
Infectious Lass has the native Somahturian power to transmit to others any disease she chooses, while remaining immune to the effects of the disease herself. Somahturians act as host bodies for thriving colonies of disease, both bacterial and viral, which they have developed a symbiotic relationship with and cannot live without. Their world is a secret and under tight quarantine to all except select Medicus One personnel, who sometimes come to collect or store samples of various diseases deemed too dangerous to be kept on the medical satellite. Drura, one of three experimental subjects taken back to Medicus One, escaped from confinement to join the Legion. Rejected because her power was too dangerous to the others, she joined the Legion of Subs to perfect her control and to be near her new friend Porcupine Pete. Her presence has created a sticky political situation for Medicus One: they can't get Drura back without force, and overt action might reveal the existence of Somahtur. They are temporarily stymied.

What's up with Medicus One, nowadays? I wonder if Levitz will be exploring there?

I wonder if the people I see in the All-Infectuous Lass thread are familiar people only with different names By the way, is there an introductory thread elsewhere?

'Great minds . . .' I just found an Alexander MCQueen showing that has a ton of Drura outfits that I am thinking about for her. And there's another designer, too, if I can just find him again. sigh How can she be such a favorite and yet, never seen?

But the real question is, when she returns, will her romance with Invisible Kid 2 begin?
...or, maybe their romance has already begun, and somewhere, lost in the time stream, is a Time-Traveling, Teleporting, Often-Invisible Plague Child!

Just came across this: So if Re-AniMage infected Infectious Lass with his own host parasites, she would gain his ability to heal others, although possibly not herself...?

From the Legion Lost board @ DC Comics Inc., 9/14/2011
dramaqueen4: Q) Is there any chance at all that we can see Infectious Lass?
fabiannicieza: A) I think the likelihood of eventually seeing a Legion-associate who is in this century and has powers that involve infectious diseases in a book that has a plague as its central conceit is pretty high.

That's a change for Favian. The first time someone mentioned Drura he said that he had no idea she was in the past and he'd have to find out if she was in the soon to be 'current' DCU past.
This is great progress! I'm so excited he's decided to run with it. I just hope she doesn't get killed or eventually, left behind.
Tanner: And, I always assumed that Drura could be a healer.
She may get with Tyroc in this multiverse, instead of Jacques.
