Palin returned as Infectious Lass vs Palin as Night Girl Lydda rocks! No way is Palin a Lydda. Naïve and from a distant place no-one knows about. Hell she's Shikari.

In an alternate future, I introduced an alien race that was a communal viral intelligence that inhabited larger hosts. Infectious Girl ended up becoming an ambassador to this race, as her people were the only ones that could communicate with them (without getting infected and either killed or taken over, anyway).
It would seem that her people would also make awesome terraformers, able to generate within themselves the seeds of new life. Pair them up with a Tromnian, to create a life-supporting environment, and they could create entirely new fertile worlds!

I would prefer to keep the original "INFECTIOUS LASS", but if her codename must be changed, I would like "BIOHAZARD".

Contagion would be a cool name as well.

Nice! I've seen other recent sketches by him. He's really improved since his Legion days. Oh, and not being inked by DeCarlo.

I just had a kind of icky thought- does the revelation about Saturn Girl and the tryouts that we read in LEGION OF THREE WORLDS have anything to do with why Drura was rejected?

(This was originally posted in another thread, but I thought it should be cross-posted here after I mistakenly looked for it and couldn't find it... it sort of relates to the most recent post.)
At last the secret of Infectious Lass' mucus sleeve 'adornments' can be revealed! They weren't there to strike terror into the hearts of criminals (and any other sentients) or to make a fashion-forward statement. No, those were Drura's pets-- Drippy and Droppy. In order to smuggle them off Somathur, she taught the little darlings to cling to her arms and act like... well, like articles of clothing.
Good at it, aren't they? All these years and no-one's suspected a thing... (it was Drippy, though, that cost Drura her chances as a LSH member in the Cockrum/Grell years- he was scared of Wildfire, so he sabotaged Drura's efforts.)

That's one of many reasons that revelation should be relegated to "chronicler's error" and never brought up again!

I agree. I prefer the idea of the character-analysis thingie that was shown a couple of times rather than Imra being a super-snoop.
I would hope Dru passed the character analysis but just went about her tryout the wrong way.

I would assume since they let her into the Subs, she's okay.

Lash, I recommend that you temporarily change this thread's title to "If Paul bring Drura (or I.F.) back, sales will SKYROCKET!!!" since Paul is a confessed frequent lurker! Or would that need its own thread? Either way, we MUST use our powerful influence over him!!!
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Drippy and Droppy are neat ideas, and could be candidates for the Super-Pets!
