Did your character fight Deadman? No. To clarify, did this character fight the JSA? This character did not fight the Justice Society of America as a team, but did fight someone who was a member of the JSA.

New Page Recap:
- Wears a costume but no cape - Would be considered a villain - Is male with facial hair - Has two arms, two legs, a head and torso, but wouldn't pass for a normal human - Is likely to appear in a solo character's book. - Has appeared more than once (and in more than one story). - This character is not a member of a team - Is a foe of a character who had their own Vertigo series at one point. - Has fought a member of the JSA, but not the team itself. - Has not fought, nor is an enemy of The Justice League of America nor one of its members, nor an enemy of the Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Black Orchid, Sandman (Wesley Dodds), Deadman, or John Constantine. - The character’s powers are not similar to any known Legionnaire - First appeared after Crisis on Infinite Earths but before Zero Hour - Did not appear in Sandman. - Does not have magical powers (though a later appearance implies a magical nature). - Is not Dr. Z Z or Bat-Mite

No. Did he fight the Spectre? Yes! Does this character have non-human skin colour? Technically No, but your question is far too specific. Try leaving out a few words.

Is this character an energy being? In a sense, but not in the way you are likely thinking. Has this character fought anyone else besides the Spectre and whoever the character or characters are who had the Vertigo series? That is correct, he has fought another character besides the Spectre, and that character had a Vertigo series.

Is this character worshiped as a deity? No. Here's the Recap so far: - Wears a costume but no cape - Would be considered a villain - Is male with facial hair but no skin. - Has two arms, two legs, a head and torso, but wouldn't pass for a normal human. - He is technically an energy being of some sort, but not in a traditional sense. - He has not been worshipped as a deity. - Is likely to appear in a solo character's book. - Has appeared more than once (and in more than one story). - This character is not a member of a team. - Is a foe of a character who had their own Vertigo series at one point. - Has also fought a member of the JSA, specifically the Spectre, whom he fought after the Golden Age. - Has not fought, nor is an enemy of The Justice League of America nor one of its members, nor an enemy of the Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Black Orchid, Sandman (Wesley Dodds), Deadman, Alan Scott or John Constantine.

No. Is this character a foe of either Madame Xanadu or Shade, the Changing Man? Yes! (and to save you the extra question, it was Shade)
