No. We mustn't have another Donna Troy/Terry Long situation here. You, the nubile teenage flower plucked by the 30s-mish guy who is old enough to be your brother or cousin. NO, no, NO!

Pshaw! I've already had two tempestuous love affairs with men who were 15 years my senior! (they both did look young for their age though!)

I'm way behind on this thread but a few things:

Taylor Swift is not only the last truly great pop superstar in the world, she's also the hottest! I love her!

I agree with Fanfie about Scarlet Johanson! Sometimes if I think too hard about her in public, I can't stand up right away until I think about baseball for a few minutes!

As a straight male, I can somehow still understand Lash's attraction to Pitbull, since son my list of debaucherous things I need to do in my life, #4 is actually "have Pitbull be my guide for a no-hold's barred weekend in Miami". If I live through it, I can't wait to tell everyone about it! And I hope those sisters from Romania are there!

There are lots of celebs and psuedo-celebs that I'm crushing on at all times. I randomly saw the "Problems" video by Ariana Grande and almost went full Terry Long! Luckily I haven't been able to sit through any other of her videos, which are usually terrible.

I've been crushing on Olivia Wilde well before she was uber-popular! Ever since she had a total makeout sesh with Marissa from the OC, I was down. Then she was on the best show that never made it, the Black Donnelys, and I was hooked. Then she made House a must-watch show and I started to get VERY JEALOUS of the rest of the world eying my girl. Nowadays, people don't even remember that Olivia and I dated before she was famous in a crazy-person fantasy land type of way.

Also loving Anna Kendrick, who is funny and talented in addition to be fall down on my face beautiful.

The fictional character / person who truly stole my heart on television--my #1 TV crush--is probably Hillary Burton, who was on One Tree Hill for many years. My wife started watching it and I was all Mr. Cool and made fun of her. Hillary had a few scenes and suddenly I was glued to my television for 6 long teen angsty seasons.

I think the video for "Bang Bang" is awesome. The only reason I didn't post it here is because, unfortunately, Ariana shares vocals with the annoying Jessie J.

I'll clarify: she is awesome in that video! When she does that clapping thing, I get all hot and have to lie down.

But Jesse J and Nikki Minaj ruin it for me. Especially Nikki.

But Ariana is still my girl in this one!

Girls with guns. (Both the kind that go bang and biceps!)

Erica Cerra, as Deputy 'Jo' Lupo.

[Linked Image]

Oh no, a ticket won't do. I've been very bad and you should break out the cuffs, officer Lupo!

Other contenders for my fickle celebrity crush-of-the-moment...

Claudia Black, who could have been the Amazon-iest Wonder Woman, ever (I don't know if she's actually Greek, but she sure looks it!).

[Linked Image]

Angela Basset, who could have been 10x the Storm that Halle Berry ended up being.

[Linked Image]

And Gina Torres, just because.

Angela Bassett made an awesome action heroine in "Strange Days", a very underrated movie IMO.

I never ever heard before of Claudia Black! I'll have to do some investigating. Thanks, Set.

She's quite fun in the SciFi show Farscape, and has some great chemistry with the male lead. (Both actors sort of recapped their relationship as completely different / annoyingly similar characters in the last season of Stargate, IIRC.)

She plays a hard-nosed military officer from a somewhat elitist Nazi analogue race, stuck with a bunch of criminals and unable to return (as she's been branded an associate of them and tainted by association). She's uber-competent and super-practical, which makes her kind of the 'straight man' to the hijinks the various alien misfits are up to.

And yeah, Angela Basset in Strange Days was *incredible.* It's some sort of travesty of justice that Bradley Cooper, who was second fiddle to her in that movie, went on to be some sort of sex symbol, and she got sidelined for so long.

She ate up the screen in American Horror Story: Coven, as well. (As did Kathy Bates, surprisingly, in an utterly hateful role that she didn't just eat up, she *devoured* with gusto!)

There's a universe where Angela Bassett played Storm in the X-Men movie, instead of Halle Berry. In that universe, they have a cure for cancer, and we've started colonizing Mars.

One of Yorkshire's greatest daughters, Lena Headey from Game of Thrones (which I don't watch, even though I like her and other cast members,) the TV series iteration of the Terminator franchise, and more:

I like that she's willing to be goofy, like in the ^above^ pic of her I chose. Just makes me crush on her even more!!

Since 5:45 this morning, I am officially crushing on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE'S KATE MCKINNON!

[Linked Image]

love

To think it all started with me waking up early and randomly surfing SNL videos on YouTube. Then I got a recommendation for "Kate McKinnon's Best Moments" (of which there's at least 7 videos), and, well, the rest is herstory.

Given her proclivity for playing all kinds of characters covering the entire gender spectrum, I've started fantasizing about her and I doing some foreplaying-roleplaying as Marvel characters Quasar (right, Kate), and Kismet (left, me.)

Aha! A thread I can get behind wink It’s been awhile since I updated it, so some thoughts on celebrities I’m crushing on.

It’s an era where females can be strong and athletic yet also feminine and beautiful, perhaps no athlete represents that better than the amazing Michelle Jenneke. Suddenly, the Summer Olympics just got a whole lot better for me these past few years!!

And speaking of female athletes, I have to mention that when I was a kid, I like so many others used to love wrestling. That faded around college age for me, but every once in a while I would check it out to see if it was as fun as I remembered (spoiler: it’s definitely not). One thing that stood out immediately was how many talented, athletic and incredibly beautiful female wrestlers there are! Starting with two incredible ones: Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks!

From there I have to turn to one of my favorite shows, Vikings, and mention perhaps the hottest woman on the planet, Katheryn Winnick, who plays Lagertha. I couldn’t settle on one video to post so here’s the google image search of her. Be warned…she’s so beautiful that it hurts. Katheryn Winnick Lagertha
[Linked Image]

Lastly, I have to mention a woman I’ve long had a crush on who somehow has gotten only more attractive with age, Keri Russell. The Americans is not only one of the best shows on television, but my girl looks good.
