He may not die, but he'd certainly discorporate, and he'd be useless, helpless and invisible. That's certainly not a good fate.

That'll learn ya to be skeptical!

I was fascinated by the devestated future scenes and wanted more more more of them.

This was a decent issue. So happy to see those bland all-white soons gone (for good, I hope).

Yera is getting very annoying. And I also though it odd that that people expect something nebulous event from the 21st century to be the reason for the bleak future. There was no hint of a connection that I could find.

I do think both this book and LSH would benefit from DeFalco and Levitz working together to tie in events of both series -- ultimately leading to Legion Lost being found again (sales tell me it's only a matter of time).

Well we finally found the 21st century tie-in for the reason the Legion Lost team found Earth abandoned in this issue. It wasn't Harvest's doing, it was caused by Infinitus as portrayed in Justice League United #8!

I'm glad Lemire picked up this tid bit of DeFalco's storytelling.

Yes, that was a nice way to wrap up the mystery introduced in Legion Lost. I am glad that is covered. Only thing missing is the mystery of Tyroc's tombstone. And I suppose the second Echo Legionnaire.

Man this had me confused. Did the search, I hadn't realized there were TWO Legion Losts. This one apparently after I dropped because of the S-prime bit.

If Lemire doesn't get to these dangling plot threads in his JLU Infinitus Saga, then I hope the next Legion series writer does pick them up. I have this feeling with all the time that Lemire took in Justice League United #8 to re-introduce the Legion to readers that a new Legion title will launch shortly. I for one would still hate to have Tyroc killed off in the 21st century, especially since recent Legion writers and artists have finally figured out how to show off his power in credible ways.

Yes, this is the New 52 Legion Lost that ran for 16 issues before being cancelled. It featured Timber Wolf, Tyroc, Gates, Tellus, Dawnstar, Wildfire and Chameleon Girl. At the end of their series the Lost team remained lost in the 21st century until they were finally reunited with the rest of the Legion in Justice League United #6-7.

Legion Lost #10 was one of DeFalco's better issues, with the team going back to the future briefly and finding Earth and Legion headquarters totally abandoned with no trace of the rest of the Legion to be found.

Other issues of interest would be Legion Lost #0 which featured an interesting origin story for Timber Wolf and LL #13 which revealed that Yera was a Legion spy working for the Science Police's secret Echo division, that there was supposed to be another covert Legion Echo agent among the Legion membership, and a possible Legion traitor. The rest of the Legion Lost series can be skipped. It was rather forgettable.

I have kept the series on my iPad, which has come in handy for quick cross-referencing with the current Legion arc in Justice League United

Some of that sounds familiar. I must have picked this up at least partly. Guess it was mostly forgettable.

Ugh. I'd totally forgotten that bizarre Timber Wolf origin issue.

Wow, I'd also totally retconned that right out of my head.

I liked the alternate origin story from the LSH cartoon, on the other hand, even if it was short of androids named Karth Arn.

For the Legion Lost 2nd series origin: see here. There is a synopsis before the review.

For the toon origin, basically Brin is transformed into his Timber Wolf form because of his father's experiments. I recall that his dad called in the Legion to catch Brin, describing him as some sort of monster and NOT telling them about his role in transforming Brin. I don't remember if he told the Legion that Brin was his son.

Oh thanks!

Not sure I see a need to change his origin. I mean, it worked in Battle Star so unlike that reviewer, I don't have a problem believing it could have been well written.

My pleasure.

I'm actually okay with his Adventure Era origin as well. The toon origin I find distasteful because Brin's dad is an unmitigated villain there. He does not care one bit about poor Brin.
