The 1990 Dracula: The Series was one of my favorite portrayals of a vampire. Lucard demonstrated almost limitless power, but preferred to act in a human guise as a ruthless businessman.

Despite my fascination with vampires I have not actually watched many shows portraying them!

I was never a fan of Buffy. I couldn't get past the "vampires are intrinsically evil" thing or the technophobe librarian.

The Heaving Bosoms of Hammer aside, I preferred Nosferatu for a vampire. It was a much better film than the Lugosi one a decade or so later.

You certainly should see both Nosferatu and the 1931 Dracula with Bela Lugosi. They influenced pretty much every vampire film made later.

And 1961's Black Sunday! That one's a must-see! Barbara Steele was one of the great villainesses of the silver screen.

Dr. Seuss's ABC was one of the very first books I read when I was little. I love Dr. Seuss. My favorite of his books is probably On Beyond Zebra.

Dr. Seuss's ABC was one of the very first books I read when I was little. I love Dr. Seuss. My childhood ABC stood for Atomic Bacterial Chemical and took the form of killer robots. I've never read Dr Seuss or had any read to me.

It's hard to choose just one, but my favorite Dr. Seuss book is "If I Ran the Circus".

I always did wonder what green eggs and ham tastes like. I don't particularly like the book but I like the color green.

I like to imagine the green comes from lots of nice herbs.

Years ago, I knew a couple who made green eggs and ham (colored with food dye) for their little girl's breakfast one day. I understand she was horrified and started crying.

I probably would have cried too, if I hadn't read the Dr. Seuss book.

True or false?: Dr. Seuss would not eat ham.
