I thought I'd launch with perhaps a less-expected crush. I'm pretty sure Teeds can verify my crush on Jennifer Hudson from the dawning days of her American Idol stint, when she was overweight, extra-talented, and continually being put down by Simon Cowell in favor of his beloved Fantasia. I like to think J-Hud had the last laugh there.




I still a decade-plus later haven't gotten over her being eliminated after launching this old Manilow number into the stratosphere:

I was already a fan of hers, now I'm even more of a fan (I only watched Idol s3 sporadically, for reasons I can't remember).

This also reminds me, I still haven't seen Dreamgirls.

Must rectify.

The NASHVILLE cast is full of crushworthies! Let's open with Gunnar, Scarlett, and Avery. Now I'm not saying I want to see their sex tape, but IF one exists, I'm also not saying I won't track it down.

One final post from NASHVILLE, as most of the cast of crushworthies appear in this season-ending clip of star and former-Cheerleader on HEROES Hayden Pannettiere belting the crap out of a real tear-jerker (she's a great singer!) but, umm, beware possible spoilers!!!

Wow, crushworthy indeed. I may have to check this show out even though I normally avoid watching TV series.

Yep, like a good old-fashioned celebrity crush!

Such as Judson Birza, youngest winner of SURVIVOR to date! Holy hopped-up hubba dumplings, he's a pretty one!! He went on to star in one of those 1313 softcore gay flicks that basically consist of hot twinks in tighty whities walking around plotting to kill each other or eyeing and/or pawing each other. Yes, I watched some of it.

Why, when a friend of mine over on FACEBOOK was looking for casting suggestions for some of the Teen Titans, I had one ready for him, and he loved it.

Backtracking for a moment to Nashville, the library catalog doesn't have any Nashville DVDs. I assume it's possible to watch it online, at the ABC website or something, but I've never done that kind of thing outside of YouTube. Could you please help me out, Lash?

I know the entire series is available on HULU PLUS, but that's $7.99 a month. Let me do some peeping around, BRB.

At ABC, only the current season 3 is available for viewing. Although seasons 1-2 are recapped nicely, this isn't quite enough. Let me keep looking a bit.

HULU PLUS *does* say you can cancel anytime... so for $8, you can cram in the entire series plus lots of other stuff?

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing it available elsewhere. I'd reckon some of those file-sharing sites have it, but the quality there is usually awful!
