Density said s/he (I still cannot tell which though I think Density is a she) can change his/her body into any substance, such as rock or inertron. Quite powerful, and I think the main reason s/he was rejected was because of attitude.

Domain's powers are more cryptic. Domain can create "realities" in the Infinity Space he controls, and can pull people into them. It's not really clear if he shifts through different realities, but from re-reading I think it's more of he can shape this Infinity Space's appearance however he wishes/

For PoFo as well, some Reboot spots that might be interesting:

1) Summer World, Legionnaires 77. Beach resort planet.

2) Fawcettworld, LSH 110, like a giant Fawcett City, full of Tawkie Tawnies and Uncle Marvels

3) G'ild, Legionnaires 72, was left a waterless wasteland. Previously home to the two G'ildan races, one is worm-like and the other resemble human brains who can generate electric blasts. Both are telepathic.

4) Mellorus, LSH 104, aquatic world home to a fishlike species

5) Silvan, LSH 66 and L*56, home to the race of light energy beings such as Lume Lume

6) Warworld, Legion 12-14, now home to the Roboticans

From the Threeboot:

Dormir and Ttrxl (issues 11-12). Ttrxl is the "transportation" world full of transmatter portals, and Dormir is the world full of Inklings. Inklings

Helegyn, LSH v5 9, the planet that is half dark and cold, and half bright and hot.

Superboy and Supergirl are affected by magic. In the new DC game it looks like it affects them just as it would anyone else, they suffer the exact same effects as do others, nothing more, nothing less.

In other sources I've read that they suffer from magic more than a normal person would.

Which is true?

I have lived for the Legion and one day I shall die for the Legion.

Additional worlds/locations for PoFo:

Postboot:

1) Planet Hell, the prison planet inside the Sun (L*20-21, LSH 65)

2) Yuen, mining asteroid where Mordru was once imprisoned (L* 44)

3) Legion Outpost Allon, introduced LSH 100. The Legion's orbital headquarters.

4) Legion World, of course!

5) The Anomaly, which McCauley tapped for teleportation and which transformed Brainiac 5, Kinetix and Andromeda

6) JS-1967, L* 48-51, L* 71-74. Site of the battle against Mordru and against the Elements of Disaster.

7) Tenazor-4, LSH 121, tropical world where the Legion fought the Fatal Five. Home to alien monkeys.

8) Steeple, Legion Worlds 5, home to a spiritual race of monks. Mountainous and windy. The Ophiuchi Black Hole flares up regularly and cuts it off from space.

9) Qward, Legion 34

Does anyone have the original print of ADVENTURE COMICS #325?

On Page 6, there are some "amazing gadgets" used by the Legion in its battle against crime, which are shown in the bottom left-hand corner. However, in the LEGION ARCHIVE reprint of that issue, the plaques describing three of the gadgets are blurred out. It's obvious there was some text there. Anyone know what they read?

Looks like you've got the "Non-Resistance Prisoner Helmet", the "Sleep-Audio Verbalizer", and the "Empathylor".

It used to be a dissolver ray before Ultra Boy melted it!

Then they left it on display as a warning to other dissolver rays!

That dissolver ray foolishly dissolved a portion of the first Kid Quantum's stasis belt, leading to his untimely "death"!

And that is why the Legion voted to punish it by melting it!

That's just the story they told. It was really just Proty II with a hangover.

Does anyone know how the text on Pages 3-4 of the "Origins and Powers of the Legion of Super-Heroes" feature differs between Adventure Comics #316 and its reprint in #365?

Poor Proty. He couldn't quite pull himself together, even with guests around.

Some of us have posted responses to your separate Persuader thread with such examples.

I'm running a "Battle for the Championship of the Universe" game similar to the onew I've run here in the past and I need fight settings.

There are many more Postboot locations which might not make great battlefields, but here they are anyway:

1) Phlogista, the Sun Planet, whose atmosphere and surface resemble a yellow sun and whose temperatures reach the five-to-six figure ranges. Generates insufficient heat and light to affect its neighbors and still retains an orbit. Explored in LSH 113 via Anywhere Machine.

Home to subatomic races who have formed a United Molecules.

2) Lycidas, gas giant homeworld of the Lycidan Hegemony and home to a race of squid-like creatures. Capital city, Thisbe, a capital city which floats in the upper atmosphere. Joined the UP in LSH Secret Files 2.

One of Lycidas' moons was the site of an encounter between some Legionnaires and the Blight. The moon was left in a state of decay and has probably crumbled to bits.

3) Anatac, description from LSH Secret Files 2, "home to an aboriginal, peaceful race reportedly descended from... Mordru. Rule is a magic-based theocracy."

Appeared in Legionnaires 48, where Mordru murdered his magical grandson who refused to join him.

4) Enwa, home to yellow-skinned humanoids with large eyes that allow them to function during Enwa's four-cycle night. Did not appear, though an Enwan appeared in Legionnaires 27.

5) Swizzar, a world of lush vegetation, inhabited by winged butterfly-like natives who study botany. Native Flutter was possessed by the wind elemental A'rie. Appeared in Legionnaires 71-72.

6) Korr, a world of toxic vapors whose inhabitants live in the atmosphere. Home to an institute with a vast technological archive. Also home to the lair of the Scavenger, Superboy's enemy from the 20th century.

7) Guron, a technologically-backward world under negotiations to join the UP. Site of the Legion's battle against a mind-controlled Element Lad. Legionnaires 33-34.

8) Drak IV, small planetoid where the Fatal Five planned to launch Braalian arms against Titan in a bid to start an interplanetary war. "Nothing there but rocks and sand", according to Brainiac 5.

9) On Mars, RJ Brande has a "little hideaway" filled with a collection of souvenirs from 20th century heroes.

10) Gallan, "a remote world in the Began system once known for its lush green hills. Now a major industrial sphere owned by Leland McCauley". Legionnaires 39, LSH 83.

11) Pon, the Lesser Moon of Xanthu. "Nothing there but a bunch of rocks", according to Kid Quantum II. LSH 103

12) Sataar, a world with a multi-species population. Home to Sarei and Redin Klerrgh, a xenophobic who turned themselves into spirit beings and once possessed M'Onel and Thunder in order to drive away non-native inhabitants. LSH 111

13) The Crystal Caverns of Earth - exactly what it says on the tin. L*67

14) Domain's Infinity Space, a dimension he controls and can reshape to his will, L*70

15) Wellur, home to a race of whiskered, purple-skinned humanoids. Their exiled King Kradok terrorized them with fake Legionnaires until the founders set them free - but they still hate the Legion. L* 75.

16) Moxie, home to an arrogant race with enhanced strength and durability and the ability to "mind-mesh" with and control machinery, like Academy Student Brawler Brawler

17) Sarccus, a world on the outermost edge of the 5th galaxy. Home to a race who can control the body functions of other races, like Academy Student Tomb

18) Anthropologia, a planet of extreme climate changes, home to a canine race who are the best trackers in the universe, like Academy Student Cannus

All three of the above appeared in Showcase 1995 #6, though their homeworlds did not.

19) Dagosk and Dabron, sister planets in a remote sector of the galaxy. The two planets prospered through close cooperation. Several officials were assassinated as Dagosk wished to join the UP while Dabron did not. Showcase 1996 #8.

Guys, I saw the splash page for DC Digest 24, which was by Infantino. Is this Infantino art for full story and is the story original or reprinted from else where. If reprinted can someone tell me where. I have all Legion on the first run, but have not red from Adventure 355 to Legion 284, so may have missed it.

Thanks

If my memory cell is right, the original Infantino art from Digest is an additional framing sequence around the stories originally presented in Adventure 371 and 372.

Calling it a framing sequence is selling it a bit short actually. It's a whopping 15 pages in total.

Digest 24 also has the Perez illustrations of the Legion.

Does anyone have a list of names and powers for the Khund legionnaires ? They were in a Facebook quiz on legion members, and I felt like such a sub not remembering them. Any help would be appreciated

Veilmist - she could teleport, and was constantly trying to move from one mate to another by getting them to kill each other. She saved the Legion's butt on at least a couple of occasions.

Firefist - cyborg leader of the Khund sub group. He had a blaster and an artificial eye. He was killed as his blast reflected off Devlin O'Ryan. At least that's what the writers wanted. It was changed so that he survived.

Bloodclaw - He didn't survive. He was the subgroup's muscle with enhanced strength and metallic claws for hands. He was killed when a zombie Magnetic Kid used those hands against him.

Flederweb - A sort of tribute to Cockrum's Nightcrawler. He had glider wings, possible some wall crawling ability. He was a bounty hunter and also had a gun.

If I recall right, Veilmist was killed by Firefist when she offered to betray him if Jo would marry her.

Flederweb eventually freed himself from Khund servitude and joined the Heroes of Lallor.

Yeah, that was towards the end after TMK had gone. I couldn't recall if Flederweb got free in the end or whether the Khunds dragged him back. Veilmist had to die. She was far too useful smile
