Nope. That was one of the highlights as turkey is rare here. It was great with the truffle sauce.

We had that too. I quite like gorgonzola, but Blaze prefers brie.

I took Blaze out to a buffet lunch yesterday for his birthday. What did we not eat or drink?

1) Lobster miso soup
3) Spinach seafood dumplings
5) Carrot-pumpkin mash
6) Prawn salad
9) Jacob's Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
10) Salmon sashimi
11) Bourbon-glazed chicken
12) Fried almond tofu

I like brie a lot too. Not cultural self-incrimination, but I had deep fried brie last week. It was nicer than I thought it was going to be as a starter.

We had lots of salmon sashimi. It's one of our faves, ESP as both of us are trying to maintain high protein diets

Blaze and I prefer white wine to red, just as we prefer dark chocolate to milk or white. Match made in heaven?

But if we had to choose a red, it would likely be a Cabernet Sauvignon. Not that.

Deep-fries breaded prawn balls in mayo with assorted fruit bits. A common dish in Chinese restos... But not at Blaze's breakfast buffet!

It;s lovely to see you spend quality time together, Ibby. Of course, it's quality time because you've eaten too much to even leave the table, but it's quality time nonetheless. smile

Had you said it was prawn balls, I'd have known right away. Cause if there's one thing I know, it's that Ibby doesn't like ba...next question soon!
