Huh! Interesting choice. Maybe they left Tasmia out so she and Mon could be reintroduced together. Ayla, maybe because her powers duplicated Garth's or because they wanted to use her in a story exploring Garth's siblings? Gim, I really don't know why; after all, other Earth-born Legionnaires were included and it's not like he had to be dead in THIS reality too. Tenzil and Condo, maybe just because they're among the Adventure Era Legionnaires with the shortest tenures.
