The GL ring doesn't work on yellow things, so I feel it could be easily thwarted. Besides, I would like to just walk outside to recharge rather than need to say an oath every 24 hours. I avoid the Quicksilver Quandary of being stuck in a world where everyone is just too slow. And the sights are great from up there.
