In the original Crisis, there was that deleted scene where Peter the Puffer Fish actually helps Metamorpo, Tomahawk and Element Lad fight off the Royal Flush Gang, and even cracks a hilarious joke about the winning hand being a "pair of fins". Classic Wolfman & Perez!

It was rejected by editorial, as it was when he had tried to use the same story in Doom Patrol. There, it was the Brain who switched Niles Caulder's head with Peter.
