...went to a big garden centre for...gasp...Christmas things. Not at my own suggestion I hasten to add. The year before the latest financial meltdown I went to the same place. I'd just moved into a new house, and needed a new set of decorations. I picked up everything I could possibly want (at very good prices - Frugal Puss Lad).

Unfortunately, it's been the best year there by far. They spent years just getting rid of the left over stock from that first year. The things that no one really wanted, before getting any additions/replacements in. So, I'm always reminded about the impact of these serial disasters on businesses when I go there at this time of year.

Not quite. He reluctantly becomes "Joan J'onzz" and leads a team consisting of Gypsy, Wonder Woman, Vixen, Dolphin, and Maxima into a world inspired by H. Rider Haggard's "She" (PAD makes the tribute quite obvious.) PAD gave Gypsy most of the best lines, and it was thanks to that story that I finally learned to like Gypsy.

And...OMG, I've just disproven my own theory.

Well, some bad characters are meant to be loathed. Like Preboot Atmos. Or Threeboot Ultra Boy.

Unfortunately, it seems like for every one character we can love to hate, there's five characters that are simply hateful.

Then X-23 could kill her, and SHE'D be the new Wolverine. I'd quite like that (the killing Psylocke part, not anything else about that whole notion.)

Today, we should make a list of all comics characters who must die.

And never come back that is. Almost everyone comes back these days.
