Thanks, Ibby! I think the fact that I have racked up 1000 posts in only 3 months means I've spending too much time on the web. wink

Hah! For a time there I was pushing 1000 a month... there were times when thothkins did that too. Most of my posts are made while stuck in traffic, walking to work, or waiting for meetings to start.

I say, as long as your "real life" duties aren't affected, why not?

Well done BraJa! I'm not just saying that because it makes my post count look more normal either smile

A lot of our posts are in response to each others', especially in Spaceopoly. So I have you two to blame as bad influences wink

Yeah, I blame myself for that. And for leaving that book on time travel out, so you could go back in time to start off the threads that I would later use to badly influence you smile

A counter argument is "Why blame me for hanging you from the nearest lamppost? After all, it was you who used the little civic money you weren't embezzling to erect them. I didn't put them there." wink

Congrats, BraJa!

At various times, we've had members keep track of who has posted how many each month. Most recently, He Who was doing that, but he decided not to continue a while back.

I have no idea how many posts I'm doing per month any more. I do know that I have about 444 (counting this post) to go till I get to Double Time Trapper. Maybe I'll hit it by the end of the year. smile

I had this nagging feeling that Ibby & I derailed that a little in my first month here. That was when I had annual leave with no plans, the Legion had just been canceled and I had just found the site. So huge amounts of threads to pick up on. Not to mention Spaceopoly.

If it were to come back, I could sit back guilt free and watch Ibby & BraJa slug it out each month smile

Although being top poster is nice, most of my posts are actually because I simply enjoy posting on the threads (and I'm also stuck in transit a lot - one hour to work and 1.5 hours back home, waiting time in between client meetings...).

I mean, if it were all about being top poster then I could just go bump up a ton of old "dead" threads. smile

And activity begets activity. As I pointed out, a lot of our posts now are in response to each other on all those Spaceopoly threads smile

And here... bump! (Sorry, I really couldn't resist.)

There must be hundreds of threads I've not read containing who know how many little nuggets of Legion knowledge. It's good to dust them off to get a fresh perspective on things.

I do try to steer clear of bringing something back from the dead, just to agree with it though. It's just too much work going to the thread graveyard and doing the spells really.

1 hour there and 1.5 hours back!? Good lord, that's long. Have you considered moving closer to your work, Ibby?

I love how these threads always turn into getting-to-know-you things smile Thanks for asking, BraJa. I actually live pretty close to work - I can get there in 20 minutes without traffic. But there never is a lack of traffic frown I could go on and on about it, but I know some people who spend 2 or 3 hours one way to work; if you want to beat that traffic you have to leave home before 5am to make it by 8!
