There's really a surprising lack of discussion of POOP on these boards. I can think of someone round here who could probably come up with their anthem... I guess that's me. So my scatological Burma Shave parody was that good, huh? What's the full name of Tenzil's political party?

To be honest, my inability to ever remember what it stood for is the main reason I've never started a thread about it before!

LOL Okay. I do still have those particular issues, so I'll look it up later.

Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

That's a good one, BraJa. It was definitely a bittersweet moment. I did like the collection of "best" moments in the two=page spread. 3 from the Adventure Era, two from v3, one from 5YL. I only wish they could have fit in a few more!

I think we might have something here. Wow! With an anthem like that, it won't be long before we all realise that there's a little POOP in everyone
"...not having to believe in a thing to be interested in it and not having to explain a thing to appreciate the wonder of it."

In the name of fairness, since I bumped up the opposing thread to this one, I'm bumping up this one too.

I loved this exchange between Rokk and Vi:

Fanfie brought up the Luck Lords story in the Levitz thread got me thinking about revisionist writing.
I wonder if Levirz' use of that method was any inspiration to Giffen and TMK.
Their revisions, mostly connecting of dots without serious change to anything else, raised Legion characters to S-Boy levels of importance. Many of them went from being products of accidents or just the best at their powers to having destined roles that shaped the galaxy.

This issue is very underrated IMO:

I really "liked"-- in the sense of characterization-- Roxxas. His various renderings paralleling the Joker, Riddler, and Two-Face, both in art and story, were both subtle and clever. And he was a really nasty villain-- much better than the Daxamite Roxxas that came along later. The fact that he was employed by EarthGov / the Dominators made those organizations all the more threatening.
Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

I liked reading some of the special text features and Legion Outposts. Also enjoyed a couple of the annuals. Too bad it looked so dull. But, when the boring panel grid ended and art changed, it provided a best moment!

Echoing BraJa earlier, but this is one of Jan's best ever moments.

God ... almost too many to mention - especially during the first dozen issues, but off the top of my head: -- Jo recovering his "LLL" shaving kit after his building was bombed. Throw in Jo's added depth and pirate persona. -- Mon-El kicking the Time Trapper's ass, regardless of the consequences. -- Andrew Nolan and Rond Vidar being the heroes of the Mordruverse. -- Venado Bay - it was "Lost" before "Lost" in terms of handling flashbacks. I always tear up reading the scene where Vi stops her men from killing Rokk despite having just taken out her eye. -- Laurel Gand. IMO, she was better than Supergirl. -- Roxxas as a chilling, credible threat. -- Rokk's dinner with Mordru.
This might be my favorite Legion era despite having *zero* WILDFIRE, but every issue was exciting and filled with the kind of pathos that the previous Legion rarely had when they had it easy in the UP.
