Jo: He's lost it. Cindy: Not my sweet Jan. You'll see. Jan: Of course, with so much time on my hands, I even got round to solving all the issues around my sexuality. Jo: He's nuts guys. I'm tellin' you. Imra: >shush Jo< That's lovely Jan. We're glad you're happy. Jan: And here is my lovely bride! Imra: Uh, Jan. That's a giant amoeba... Jan: And from our union we shall seed this galaxy cell division by cell division! Jo: Told you so. Cindy: Oh, Jan... >splork<

How did Darkseid mentally control the Daxams in an effort to conquer the galaxy? To what extent can he mentally control people, how many at a time and for how long? In the Legion of Super-Heroes book published for the DC roleplaying game, under Darkseid's stats it claims he controlled 4 billion Daxams through mental control. How did he do this?
When I looked at the story (Legion of Super-Heroes #293) Darkseid appears on Daxam, clearly the inhabitants fear him, then he changes their red sun to yellow which grants them their Krypotonian like powers. Darkseid makes references to their weaker minds but it doesn't tell how he controlled them.

I didn't find anything official, so this may just be an assumption on my part. I thought that after Final Crisis it was retro/proactively retconned to show he used the Anti-Life Equation on the Daxamites.
It would make sense, since dominating wills is basically what the Anti-Life Equation is supposed to allow one to do. Though one wonders if Darkseid has the Anti-Life Equation in GDS, what exactly is he doing? Why not just use it to take over everything?
Darkseid: All must fall before my Anti-Life equation. TT: Since they're all still alive, it's not really anti life is it? Darkseid: Gah! It's Technicality Teen! TT: It's just mind control with a silly name isn't it? Do you get mistaken for Mind Grabber Kid a lot? Darkseid: Feel the power of my Omega Beams! TT: Since everyone hit by them comes back, they're not very Omega-like are they? Did you resent not being asked to join the JLA Mind Grabber Kid?

It goes back to the very first issue of New Gods. Kirby defined the "Life Equation" as representing choice and free will. Ergo, Darkseid was searching for the opposite - the Anti-"Life Equation".
My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Can I get some specific examples of Persuader using his axe to perform actions which are related to energy...for example, when he blocked/absorbed Validus' lightning bolt attack which sent the Fatal Five into a different dimension (Adventure Comics #353.
I've read online about him opening up dimensions, possibly time itself or other non-tangible concepts. If you can reference the series and issue please do so I can review it in my comic collection.

Validus has the Invulnerability power...we know it includes energy attacks, physical harm from punches, and he's able to handle atmospheric conditions as well. What about these:
Hey, gang, for a Legion APA game I need 100 distinct Legion-centric or 31st century settings. I'm looking for places we know something about. I mean, we know Schwar is the homeworld of Fire-Lad, but what of it besides that, right?
I'm running a "Battle for the Championship of the Universe" game similar to the onew I've run here in the past and I need fight settings.
Here's the list I've come up with so far. Much appreciated if you can add any battle spots to my list.
