in unrelated news, shares in men's grooming products plummeted suddenly today. "We don't know what it is," said one executive. "It's like something happened to the Force. Something else else bad. Like a billion hair follicles cried out for gel all at once, and then..."
About to start chores, as I won't get to do much at the weekend.

... am not wearing any product in my hair.
It feels very odd... like I've gone to work naked or something. Slippery slope, Ex. Fix the hair. No one wants to look up and see a naked chopper pilot.

... Learned about the history behind several streets of Manila I remember trying to learn the history behind my house... Me: So, what's the history behind my house? Neighbour: There's your garden behind your house. Me: But the history? Neighbour: Your house has always had a garden. Me: Oh... Today: I noticed someone has put a flag up declaring their vote in the upcoming independence election. Brave guy, as each side has been given an equal number of morons.

actually, I was just thinking "you know what they say about craigslist". ... gave up with ironing to spend some festivus pennies online, ahead of schedule. Oh, and booked a surprise theatre night for my folks when they come back from their holiday. The second sentence is in no way connected to obtaining brownie points for the first sentence. Nope. No way. No how.

my hard drive finally gave up the ghost this morning. Picked up a new PC after getting home. 10mins later and on Legion World!
Transferring what I hope is an up to date set of back up files...

I too have the day off. As I type I'm looking out at a tree that needs a bit of a trim. Shall I overcome my Super Power of Self Imposed Inertia?
I'll give it some thought later...

I too have sleep issues. I woke up in the middle of the night for no discernible reason, and tossed and turned for the next hour.

I fell asleep this afternoon, catching up on missed sleep from the last ...oh lifetime.
rumours that I sleepwalk through my posts are scurrilous.
Which reminds me that I saw The Cabinet of Dr Caligari last week, with the original film somnambulist Cesare. At the cinema! For half the price of a normal cinema ticket. This week I saw M at the same place.

I slept like a log from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. I usually try to get 7 or 8 hours of sleep per night, so I'm down a couple. Will I be sleepless tonight as well with this deficit?

The other day I went to bed at 9pm. I woke up at 3am and couldn't fall asleep again until 5.

indeed, I'm up late. If I'm not pawed awake by the cat, I often wake up at 5 only to be unable to fall back asleep. It's a cross between the extra light and alarm clock anxiety.
Between that and late nights means I don't have huge amounts of energy. Something else else I'm trying to improve.
