He's afraid to be touched, so he tries to make super female slaves... so he can dominate them. Whoa! Enhanced women's intuition! Cool, and a bit scary I really like Greer's dialogue here, though. Very snappy. Thanks for sharing, Peebz!

Hi everyone. Sorry for keeping you all waiting. Things are a bit crazy in le monde de Blacula at the moment.
Here's my Q -
Patricia Highsmith, famous author best known for her novel Strangers on a Train (which became an Alfred Hitchcock movie) and The Talented Mr Ripley series of books (a bunch of which became movies) got her start writing comic books. Which DC character did she write the adventures of?

I'm sure I came across her name looking at old characters for a legion of an alternate comics universe. Fawcett or Quality or something like that.
Golden Arrow is the first thing in my head, probably due to the convoluted origin.

Thothkins - you are definitely on the right track, and in fact, Patricia Highsmith did write the adventures of Golden Arrow. However, since he was never bought by DC, that disqualifies him as an answer.
That should be a big clue to everyone.

However, you have followed the correct path with my clue.

Blue Beetle could be it going by the above comments, but I'll go with Bulletman.

All of Thothkins' guesses have been the closest.

gaaaah! I'm going to get sniped Spy Smasher - perhaps a slightly darker tone leading her off to do the Ripley books?
