57. Both are really good. The danger would be greater for CAPTAIN AMERICA, so he takes it.
58. THUNDERBOLTS, though I'm not super-into either one.
59. IT REALLY HAPPENED has heroic chick and floating heads!
60. NIGHTCRAWLER is better.

61. I'm giving it to GHOST. Both covers are lovely and simple, but GHOST has a touch more atmosphere.
62. Despite the Cardy influence on the MM cover, the METAMORPHO cover uses the word "pillbox". So, METAMORPHO.
63. Poison Ivy's wrath is much more compelling to me than the nonsense on that BATWOMAN cover. So BOP.
64. SUB-MARINER. Few images are as thrilling as seeing the hero struggle to keep from being eaten!

65. Wow, such ridonkulata! hey, Woody Allen... I'm pretty sure full-size Atom can handily kick your ass too. I'll give it to GREEN LANTERN though, because freaky aliens!
66. neither really do much for me, but I find SPECTRE a bit more interesting.
67. Oh, ASTRO CITY for sure. wish I'd kept those.
68. YAWN. I hate, HATE the Marvel "pin-up covers only period". I'll give it to regular, non-team-up USM due to the angle.

89. ADVENTURES IN THE DCU vs. AMAZING FANTASY 90. FORCE WORKS vs. JLA 91. LUKE CAGE vs. IRON FIST 92. EXILES vs. ZATANNA Not much gets better than that Zatanna cover. Although that Justice League cover is bad joo joo.

97. CATWOMAN vs. JOE PALOOKA 98. FANTASTIC FOUR vs. AQUAMAN 99. BLACK CAT vs. JON SABLE FREELANCE 100. AMAZING ADULT FANTASY vs. CRISIS Amazing Fantasy versus Crisis was hard especially with that weird non conformist panel type cover but ... Amazing Fantasy says it respects my intelligence. Thanks Amazing Fantasy.

In Gotham, semi-colon finds YOU. Is the cover to number 12 just an ink stain.

69. Both are not exciting. Forced to make a choice, I'll choose... GREEN MASK (it's quasi-Cardyesque)
70. CLUE COMICS (I like the girl being there)
71. I respond well to both, but I'll give it to NIGHT FORCE (though I do wish the light through the blinds was dimmer)
72. DOOM PATROL for sure. Humor and horror, good stuff!
73. MASTER COMICS. The Bulletman cover is cleaner and kinda cool.
74. TALES OF SUSPENSE. Spoor rocks, Monstrom sucks.
75. CAPTAIN AMERICA (especially having JUST watched THE WINTER SOLDIER recently for the first time)
76. I'm responding more to the IRON MAN cover, it's more colorful!
77. Damn you for making me give SECRET WARS tops in anything.
78. I like both, but tops to MISTER MIRACLE for detail!
79. MICRONAUTS is more interesting to me.
80. DUH, no contest. The tubes of DYNAMIC COMICS win.

81. CAT-MAN because Kitten
82. THE SHADE (as I've said before, white background covers aren't my favorite)
83. YOUNG JUSTICE, no contest. Nauck rules. I'f I'm being fully honest, were I to ever really go pro with a comic, if I couldn't have Mike Allred on art, I'd want Todd Nauck.
84. WHO's WHO (less white background)
85. Gonna stop here, because I can tell I'm not currently able to give either cover the proper consideration. Will resume here next time.

>shuffles feet at arriving late for Cover Class<
1. Old Titans: Robotic monster more impressive than bloke in sandals. Note Speedy’s drug glow. Decapitated heads on NTT unsettling.
2. Planetary: Spy thriller cover better than a group of adults being impressed with a light bulb.
3. Alpha Flight: Cooler (hee hee) costume and Who…Are … Them?
4. Amethyst ongoing: Kick ass armoured character better than ridiculous Mini mini.
5. Plastic Man: He has all the fun and I’m not interested in Doll Man’s socks.
6. Crime & Punishment: Justice might trap the guilty, but is it brave enough to sit in a tree without much leaf covering?
7. Bats: Superman is just a circus strongman compared to the well designed Bats cover.
8. Dark Victory: Ivy as part of the Green doesn’t need any cake.
9. Elementals: Mainly as I imagine little windscreen wipers on the sun glasses.
10. DNA Agents: Why should cherubs get all the fun flying things? Both good covers though.
11. Comic Cavalcade: If you have fun together, you won’t need a victory garden.
12. Infinity Inc. Although I never did shake the idea that SSK had colossal boy powers.
13. Detective Comics: Even though the window is on the ground floor.
14. Sherlock Holmes One: It’s overly dramatic, and doesnlt fit the logo, but the better of the two.
15. Kerry Drake: Four Drakes mentioned to one Dick.
16. James Bond: Lechery wins over slightly muddled derivative design choices.
17. Bulletman: A real tough choice, but it’s more dynamic. How did they launch Bulletdog?
18. Plastic Man: She Hulk Art is better, but Paz cover fits story title.
19. Jimmy Olsen: For his priceless expression. Loping Lois is lovely, but Supes is dumpy.
20. Outsiders: It’ll build your character Geo-Force, and you really need some.

85. The sheer ridonkulata of BEWARE gives it the win. Ha! Ha!
86. BUNNY, 'cause I want to bang at least 3 guys on that cover.
87. DEAN MARTIN & JERRY LEWIS because it's going down! I'm yelling TIMBERRRRRRRR! You better MOVE! You better DANCE!
88. CAPTAIN CARROT will top anything it goes up against.

89. AitDCU, because Scorpion means nothing to me.
90. JLoA because I'll buy Roy a bag of dope but first he has to do a li'l something for me...
91. LUKE CAGE! Love the whole thing.
92. ZATANNA for sure!
93. WEIRD COMICS
94. WONDER WOMAN, I like seeing D.C. in the background!
95. Both are good, but WITCHING HOUR trumps.
96. PICTORIAL ROMANCES. Ma, Pa, ya'll better go sleep in the barn tonight 'cause I intend to do THINGS to yer boy.
97. CATWOMAN, cute.
98. AQUAMAN, no question.
99. BLACK CAT is cute, but Grell is selling that JON SABLE, so it.
100. I hated what it did, but there's no question that Perez made it all look pretty. CRISIS.
101. I guessed MOON KNIGHT but it was wrong. JOHNNY QUEST. BILL SIENKIEWICZ rocks. I'd most like to be able to draw like Mike Allred but Sienkiewicz is a close second.

21. The Kilroys. As much as I enjoy youngster being beaten by the police, I'm going for the one with the joke and the no nonsense "Vacation Land".
22. Katy Keene. Speaking of jokes I wish there was one here. Keene for the embarrassment to one of them.
23. Black Terror for not almost getting a side kick killed in his cover, and fro a little extra detail.
24. True Love. For the well realised early Scarlet Witch outfit.
25. Mr DA for his evil expression and miniaturisation powers. There's too much danger in the other cover.
26. Green Lantern. Melting guns trumps gorilla covers DC.
27. All American for getting Concord to use his bestest Buck Rogers pose.
28. Leading. they all wear headgear of some sort, so you can see their fear.
29. The train target cover. Plenty of danger, but a comedy reprieve on the way for Lightning Lad. The colour coded characters with black backdrop is stylish though.
30. House of Mystery. A real toughie. Both are interesting but the quality of Mystery wins, even though someone would blurt out "Ghost2 well before "T"
31. Star Spangled in two pretty poor covers. The more interesting Flash is pooper than Spangles though.
32. Captain Marvel Jr & Raboy for revolutionising super powered flight.
33. X-Men for having more detail on two nice covers. Iceman endangering the truck and Profs Wheelchair in the road get it extra points.
34. Out of this world for the intricate weapons, and for not being an alien dreaming in his basement with (very nice) models.
35. Batman Adventures. Another two nice covers, but death by typewriter is more likely to be bought than holiday romance snaps. Gotham Central: "No tongues Batman!"
36. Son of Asgard. Much creepier looking.
