I assume there's some rhyme or reason to the names and we're not expected to just go through every name in the English language? Patricia?

Peebz is correct! Very close; Ralph's second choice as Ralphetta! I assume there's some rhyme or reason to the names and we're not expected to just go through every name in the English language? That's why I said, Let's just say that Ralph was a bit more self-centered than that. In any case, Peebz got them both right. So, over to you Peebz!

Although, with names like those, maybe those kids should thank Jean Loring for sparing them the teasing.

I think they would have perfectly respectable names, probably after Sue's grandparents/ parents.
I wonder why we never saw the...oh never mind.

I've never seen Teeds post to a trivia thread though. Any clues for us Peebz?

nope.
it's a pretty non comics way to off yourself. seen often in tv and movies. no space rays or radiation chambers necessary.
the reasons he did it are pretty funny though.

crushed under a building (possibly one that was blown up from the last guess)?
tried to inject himself with super-doggie serum to counter Greer's super-kitty serum and died chasing traffic?

no but that would be a better strategy to defeat Greer.
I will post the reason why after the correct guess. It is a really standard way to off oneself ... right after jumping from a building or taking sleeping pills.

yes. he shot himself. He was an interesting guy to say the least. Mr. Mal Donalbain was afraid to be touched so he hijacked Greer Nelson's mentor's research on making superwomen to create a bunch of super female slaves. (and dress them up in cat outfits?) I'm afraid you have to touch here for more on Malevolent Mal Greer, who had all sorts of super non feline perceptual powers, as well as physical ones dressed up in the Cat costume to thwart Mal and get revenge for the death of her mentor Dr Tumulo. She can figue out how things worked just by looking at them! She was supposed to be more of a super woman! Even before that, She was also one smart cookie. She got a job as a research assistant for Dr Tumulo because she didn't want to be just a pretty face and her husband died, so Greer went to work after lots of rejections, for her old professor. Her feminist origins seem to have gone array now that she purrs and fights crime in a bikini. Anyhoo, at the end of the issue, Greer gets the upper hand on Mal Donalbain and threatens to touch him ... he freaks out, so afraid to be touched, he shoots himself dead!! For the whole fantastic issue: Scratch HERE! OVER TO YOU BLACS!
