Today I started packing for my annual pilgrimage to week-long teacher school in Exeter, NH. Made my "reservation" (no card, no down) at the musty ma-pop I stay at in Vermont. Looking forward to my real maple syrup breakfast the next day, then on to Exeter.

Which, as all kids viewing know, a mofo is a small African tree dwelling mammal. The speed of it's vast leaps through the foilage often leave it disoriented.

I'm glad to hear your job is safe, thothkins. I hope the reorganization doesn't disrupt things too much. And I really hope your company does a good job at communications all throughout. We always advise our clients to communicate, communicate, communicate; the anxiety can be an awful thing for everyone involved.

... organised a works evening out (much rarer now than they used to be). As I left it dawned on me that I'll be the only one still there of the that group soon, for a number of reasons. Nice to get home early enough to enjoy the sunset too...

One more day in New Hampshire for teacher school then back to Toledo. Two courses: the Math of Origami and Astronomy. Both have been fascinating. There are teachers here from all over: even one from Manilla, IB.

Of course I found the local comic shop and picked up two graphic novels off the cheap table. "Walk-in" by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics). That's started out pretty good. After that I'll read "Astro City." I thought I had once read good things about that title so I picked it up.
