Do you mind if I ask how long your current list is? We might have more than enough to start.

I have 160+ for Postboot, 130+ for Preboot, 88 for Retroboot, 57 for Threeboot. It is pretty long, but then the intent was to include every Legion villain ever... I'm inclined to be as thorough as possible with list creation because we will only run this game once anyway (until we decide to do it again). I know some others would prefer a comprehensive list too.
Maybe I can cut the preparation time down by just using online sources instead of digging through back issues. I guess online sources would flag all the major villains in each issue anyway.

Just in case you're not already waaaay past this point, I've got the Legion index series that should list all of the villains appearing in Adventure and a little beyond. If it's of any use I can list those or do some checking against them if it helps.

By all means PM me the list, if it works for that. I'll check it.

You're welcome. You put in loads of work to keep these going so it's no trouble. Especially as every returned entry will be Mordru, ensuring his ultimate dark victory. Shall I? Yes I shall. Mwah! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Bah, I keep checking this thread to see if Black Canary (or Hawkwoman) won! This Nu52 continuity continues to vex me!

Parallel 00:00:75 : Rose Wilde looked suspiciously at the printout from the Kleinschmidt teletype. The machine's staccato rhythm was lost in the background as she reread the news. "CANARY WINS IDOL!"
Several Zero-Zero agents had ensured a Barry Allen victory on all of the nexus-parallels in this facet. That their planning had failed could only be the work of a rival agency. This was the work of the Disruptors.
Wilde shuddered as she recalled one of her other selves fall before Dark Set and his Disruptor agents on Parallel 00:02:31. Dust and Blood in Luxor. She would need Arkwright. This time she wouldn't be facing Set alone...
Found you a universe where your dreams can come true, Set!

Found you a universe where your dreams can come true, Set! Wow, that's some tasty and oblique detail there, with Arkwright and Dust and Blood in Luxor! I'd love to see a Justice League that involved the Satellite era members who *aren't* 'big 7,' like Black Canary, Green Arrow, Red Tornado, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Atom, Zatanna, Firestorm and Elongated Man (guest starring, whenever he feels like popping in and saying something portentous, the Phantom Stranger!). And then various other Leaguers from later generations. Vixen, Dr. (Kimiyo) Light, Steel, Booster Gold, Etrigan/Jason Blood.

Awesome line-up, Set! Most of those guys outlasted four of our Big Seven in the game, too. You're welcome. You put in loads of work to keep these going so it's no trouble. Especially as every returned entry will be Mordru, ensuring his ultimate dark victory. Shall I? Yes I shall. Mwah! Ha! Ha! Ha! *Note to self: Omit Mordru from the list when I finally do get this game going*

This is just what a lot of the readers in the 220-230 issues of JLA were crying out for. Unfortunately, they took it too far in one direction and lost all of but two of those...

A mishmash of sorts happened just before Flashpoin.
Black Canary, Vixen, Dr. Light, Red Tornado, Zatanna. Plus a new Hawkgirl (Kendra) and Firestorm (Jason) and Red Arrow. Alas, we all know how long that lasted...

Hi, for those watching this thread, first I would like to apologize for taking so long to get the ball rolling on LSV Idol. It takes a surprising lot of time to put together a "complete" and comprehensive list of villains and usually I have very little energy during the workweek to do more than post short replies. Most of my posts are done using my mobile phone too.
The holidays are also shaping up to be a busy time of year. I'm looking to launch in the first quarter of next year instead.
Thanks for your patience.

Back when you did the JLIdol, I did lots of little plots for an alternate Justice League Detroit run. That I've not got near posting. So, take as long as it takes, Ibby.

I always found the Idol and Survivor games a lot of fun. Nice to know one is in the works.

Hey all. Sorry I have been putting this off for so long. Really swamped at work, and running one of these does take quite a bit of work.

I forgot who won this ... I thought Black Canary but ...
It was Barry Allen ... which makes a nice sense given his place in the history of the DCU.
Anyway, Thanks IBBY

These start so many nice discussions ... in fact the mention of Tellus sparked an idea for a new thread.

Glad you enjoyed it, Peebz. I also found the discussions a lot of fun.
With these Idol games, starting is the hardest part...

This thread definitely gave me a kick to start tweaking the JLA Conway plots over on the Bits section, so the Idol games help start off other things too.
