I didn't realise that Barry Allen was so popular!

Barry's been doing about this well for the last few rounds, actually. And I think the elimination of several Satellite Era Leaguers has driven more points his way!

You never did answer the question, thoth: If not for LWL-Gate, when you thought Hal's vote was now Ronnie's and assumed you were saving both Mari and Ronnie because of that, which one would you have saved if you knew only one could stay? hmmm

We're 11 voters in Dave. Ones who haven't are:

Lardy
thothkins
Blacula
Future

I'm pretty sure Lardy, thothkins and Blacula will vote. And Future was online earlier today.

I bet that's the answer too wink But we'll probably hear it straight from the thothkins' mouth when he casts his vote.

Well, that more or less seals Ralph's fate (unless thothkins radically departs from his previous vote patterns).

1. (Pre-Flashpoint) Vixen - 20
2. (Pre-Flashpoint) Flash (Barry Allen) - 10
3. (Pre-Flashpoint) Black Canary (Dinah Laurel Lance) - 5
4. (Pre-Flashpoint) Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman (Shayera Hol, Silver Age)

Looks like I'm going to lose another favourite in Vixen.

Blacula has voted for Ralph before, so he could still be saved.

If Blacula votes, and he simply bumps up in rankings who remains from his last list, Ralph is safe--and we lose THREE divas! ElasticLad If he doesn't vote, Ralph is toast. Otherwise, we'd lose two divas in either scenario (one the same and the other differing)...unless Blacula does something unexpected.

Frankly, I'm pretty shocked about one potential elimination! nod

Leave it to Blacula to keep us all in suspense! tongue Let's not forget that his love for JLA 200 is well-documented, and he likes the entire Satellite Era League. I think he's facing a tough choice now as to who to sacrifice. Looking back through previous rounds, he's voted for every one of them still on the list. He was devastated when Diana was first eliminated, and he mentioned that the main reason he didn't include the Satellite Divas in earlier votes was because they didn't need any help (and now they do!).

And like Lardy, I am shocked at the results! (and a little saddened too frown ).

And like thothkins, I shall miss Vixen (even though I didn't vote for her this time smile frown ). I do like her though, both as a character and as a Leaguer.

And wow, the returning triumvirate of Xben, Future and razsolo have really bumped Dinah up this round! And to think she was in very real danger of elimination two rounds back!

Still kind of thrilled that A) a non-Satellite-era member has managed to hold out this long (go Vixen!) and B) five out of our top eight are Lady Leaguers! Black Canary and Hawkwoman have both outlasted their associated menfolk (Green Arrow, Hawkman and / or Green John Stewart, depending on continuity).

Mari's pretty unique. The League has had Steel (John Henry Irons), Green Lantern (John Stewart), Black Lightning, Amazing Man, Bloodwynd, Batwing and Cyborg for African-American men, but Mari remains unique.

Of those that remain, Dinah is by far my favorite. Barry and J'onn are the only other two I like in particular - I cast my last vote for Ralph because he seemed the less likely to be helped by my vote.

I think almost everyone's voting strategically now, though I have a big hunch that (if everyone keeps voting) we'll see two girls and a guy in the finals. But who knows, I could be surprised in the next couple of rounds.

I loved Vixen in the JLU toon as well (and she was one of only FOUR toon characters who made it to Round 3 in this game, alongside Wally, Shayera and John Stewart). Of the four, she was the only non-founder!

And we love our women, alright (though it looks like we'll lose two, maybe even three, this round).

Tis true.

It is cool how we vote for the ladies, since there were only four ladies among the sixteen-ish Satellite Leaguers to choose from (and only *one* in the original 'big seven'). All four of them are getting strong votes, while the *twelve* male figures are fighting tooth and nail and dropping like flies.

Just demographically, ignoring other factors, you'd expect 75% of our top Leaguers to be straight white dudes, because most of them were in the 'classic' lineup, with robots and martians outnumbering black, Asian, gay, etc. minorities.

OTOH, counting those who came later, there are a *ton* of minority characters available, if DC ever wanted to do a 'Mighty Justice' book similar to the current minority-dominant Mighty Avengers over at marvel. (Or an all Lady League, similar to the current all-female X-Men title.)

To an extent, that sort of book can come across as a gimmick, or pandering, but still, it's at least an interesting gimmick, and no more artificial than assembling a 'A-team' from everyone who already has their own book (but otherwise has *nothing* in common), or a 'B-team' from everyone who can't sustain their own book...

I'm pretty happy that so many of my favourites got through so many rounds. I would have been able to have saved Steel (Hank Heywood) if I had voted tactically. But I doubt he would have got much further. Not when Ronnie and (almost certainly) Mari have now gone out.

Awaiting Blacula's vote, I've still got one big favourite and one who has grown on me down the years left from my Top 5.

As much as I liked Barda & Doctor Fate, neither were in the league long enough for even me to have continued voting for them. Ted's tenure in the increasingly Bwah ha ha league meant that I wouldn't have voted for him too much longer either.

Sorry for keeping everyone waiting (and in suspense). I thought this round went on for longer for some reason.

Such a tough decision, but in the end I went with...

1. (Pre-Flashpoint) Elongated Man
2. (Pre-Flashpoint) Zatanna
3. (Pre-Flashpoint) Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman (Shayera Hol, Silver Age)
4. (Pre-Flashpoint) Flash (Barry Allen)
