Hey, I said Supergirl previously, and look what happened!
How about...Superman when he was a boy? The *real* Superboy!
Well, if not, I guess I'd like to see...Captain Comet! But not as an actual Legionnaire. Outside of the Superman family, I'm not sure I'd want any as actual Legionnaires.

I'd have to say Arsenal.
There's no mere mortals on the team. And Roy's wisecracking irreverent attitude sort of fits the whole "eat it Grandpa" mentality of the Legion.
Just spouting off.

I always thought it would be cool to have a Green Lantern in the Legion. Even with the rule against artificial powers, I always thought 'fearlessness' and 'will power' could be enough (with the ring) to qualify.
A Tellus Lantern would be awesome!

A Tellus Lantern would be awesome! I've always hankered for a Green lantern, too. And a dark Star as well--rules be damned (or at least supsended in this one instance). Actually, somebody recently mentioned somewhere on this board that it would be neat if Dragonmage were to be reintroduced and his powers were explained to be derived from the mystical Green Lantern somehow (or was it the Emerald Eye?--I can't remember which). This is a pretty neat idea, too, I think.
If the meek shall inherit inherit the Earth, then I at least want Baffin Island - and a property manager to work for me who is made of sterner stuff than I.

Quite a few of the Teen Titans would be neat, but I'd rather see a legacy character of some sort.
It would be neat to see a 30th century Atlantean or Themyscrian Amazon or Tamaranian or something.

If it was a Green Lantern, I'd want a time-traveling Arisia! Now *that* would be HELLA-KEWL!

Its too bad that superheroes that depend upon external tools - such as rings and rods - are barred from Legion membership. Otherwise, we could see legacy charcters based upon the inheritance of such DCU items as Thanagarian hawk wings and weopons, the Qwardian yellow power ring, Wonder Woman's lasso and bracelets, Star Girl's rod and belt, etc. Ooh, and I just thought of another one! Wouldn't it be nice to see a New Gods representative, too - complete with Mother Box?

The Silver Age Superman and the Pre-Crisis Adult Legion of Super-Heroes anywhere after Wildfire and Dawnstar join but before Karate Kid dies in the Original continuity and they should all be wearing Dave Cockrum costumes.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.

Ooh, and I just thought of another one! Wouldn't it be nice to see a New Gods representative, too - complete with Mother Box I wrote up a Mutants & Masterminds alternate universe Legionnaire named Kid Omega. Brainy pooh-poohed the idea of using his time machine to go all the way back into history to grab someone who was already going to be a legendary hero. He stressed instead that they pick someone who *wasn't* a legendary hero, and went back to recruit a teenager named Aleph, who joined the Legion as 'Kid Omega.' Much later, he changed his name to Darkseid. Brainy's plan to make a superhero out of him during his impressionable youth didn't 'take.'

Hmm, that's a really interesting idea about the planets New Genesis and Apokalips, Set.
And I agree about Doctor Fate. In fact, it would be great to see some of the DCU's immortal - or at least very long-lived - heroes appear in the 30th century, such as J'onn J'onzz (again) or the Phantom Stranger, to name two examples.
If the meek shall inherit inherit the Earth, then I at least want Baffin Island - and a property manager to work for me who is made of sterner stuff than I.

Here's my idea. It's someone who's of the right age to join the Legion. It's someone who DC doesn't seem to know what to do with. He doesn't have much of a supporting cast of his own, because he's part of someone else's supporting cast. In recent years he's acquired certain superpowers that could make him particularly useful to the Legion (where he wasn't before). And he's attached to a thread of DC mythology that it'd be interesting to see from a 31st-century point of view. And neither his powers nor personality are so strong that he'd force the comic book to centre around him all the time.
It is, of course, Aqualad. (I know, I know, 'Tempest'. But if he's joining the Legion we have to go back to 'Aqualad'.)
