The stretchy nose thing is a little less gross, and I always liked the "I smell a mystery!" bit.

One other thing I loved about Ralph and Sue were all the mysteries Sue cooked up for Ralph's birthdays, and how Ralph almost always figured them out BEFORE Sue even sprang the surprise - but played along anyway to show he appreciated her efforts smile It was JL Quarterly 6 where we saw one of those. Sue disappears, and Ralph isn't worried because he knows it's his birthday surprise... and then Wally tells him it's a week early!
