Question as soon as I can get to the Titans boxes. I have to say I find coming up with Titans questions much tougher. I didn't realise so little was going on in some of those Wolfman issues outside of the soap.

I hear ya thothkins. Titans questions are tough for me. I read most of the Silver Age and Wolfman run but very little actually sticks in my mind. I don't know why. Maybe it's cause I binge-read them?

Stop me if this is familiar...
A Gotham based villain breaks into the apartment of a female character who is important to the protagonist. The villain's following actions involve taking at least one picture of the female character in an attempt to show the lack of difference between protagonist and antagonist. To turn the hero into a villain. Who is the villain and who is the hero?

Dark Angel wasn't a gotham based villain, if that helps your random guessing. It wasn't Donna Troy either.

Neither of those, but both answers are quite prominent characters, so you#ll get there shortly.

Hero - Cyborg Villain (oh dear, I don't know quite as many villains as heroes) - Um, Mad Hatter?

Cyborg is the hero of the story.
The villain is a bit more high profile than the Hatter.

Yay! It was Two Face.
Going back to my question: "A Gotham based villain breaks into the apartment of a female character who is important to the protagonist. The villain's following actions involve taking at least one picture of the female character in an attempt to show the lack of difference between protagonist and antagonist. To turn the hero into a villain."
This story in Teen Titans Spotlight was written by J. Michael Straczynski. It has essentially the same plot as the long-in-progress Killing Joke that would be released the following year by Alan Moore/ Brian Bolland.
Substitute Cyborg for Batman and Sarah Charles for Barbara Gordon. Fortunately Charles does not suffer the added horror that Gordon had to go through.
Thou are up, Ibby!

I have a vague memory of this happening now! I figured it had to be either Sarah Charles or Sarah Simms. Glad both Sarahs are still alive (because Games is out of continuity :p).
New q up soon!

When I first read Crisis on Infinite Earths, I was only familiar with the Legion and the Justice League (Satellite and International). There were a lot of cool moments for me, like seeing the origin of Dr. Light (Kimiyo) and learning that she used to be a *$*@!, seeing a more stable Power Girl, and learning how Wally graduated from Kid Flash to Flash.
One character that really impressed me was Kole. Here was a competent, mature and likable Titan with the most awesome powers! She turned Black Adam into crystal! She can make barriers or slides, and she can fly! Her death was one of those which hit me hardest.
Imagine my surprise when I later learned that she had only been appearing in the Titans books for less than a year. But there were actually two clues I picked up when reading COIE that made me realize she was a new Titan.
Name one of the two clues.

Nope. I only recall one scene like that, in one of the first issues Metamorpho goes, "You're Kole right? Think you can help?" I chalked that up to them being on different teams. I didn't know that the Titans and the Outsiders had worked together before.

I don't recall the clues. I do seem to remember that she was created specifically to die in crisis because they didn't want to disrupt the rest of the team or something like that.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

Yup, he replied to a WiR thing and said that basically it was to pacify other creators that wanted one of his characters to die in crisis since he was killing some of theirs. He said it was a mistake on his part.

Yeah, I read too that Kole was created to die. He wanted to offer one of his own creations - it couldn't just be a Titans character, but it had to be a Wolfman creation.
I'm glad he realized it was a mistake! Though honestly, the only others he could have killed were Starfire and Cyborg (which he couldn't!) and stupid whiny Azrael. And if it had been Azrael, people wouldn't have cared as much.

There were two clues I picked up when reading Crisis on Infinite Earths that made me realize Kole was a new member of the Teen Titans, instead of an established member of the team.
Name one of the two clues. It wasn't because the other heroes didn't know her. One clue was something she said. Another clue was something physical.

Didn't she explain what her powers were? I don't remember too many other characters stopping to tell the readers what they could do.
