Yeah, I thought the name would be related to the powers. But I don't know that many X-Men characters, so if this character is a villain then I probably won't be able to guess.

I wonder why Ariel was a contender for Starfire's code name. The only Ariels I know are the Little Mermaid and the one from the Tempest; the latter of which kind of makes sense for Kitty Pryde, but doesn't really seem to fit Starfire's powerset.

Yes, I'm getting surprised by how many countries I can recall! Though most of the others seem to be in the Caribbean or in the Middle East...
