Jeepers, I didn't even recognise it as McKone's.

Equinox is Cree right? And we have Dawnstar with her Native American heritage.
Not really liking Animal Man's new look. And the fourth unidentified dude? Meh.

Aquaman and... The Others! DC is clearly running out of names for super-hero groups.

Aquaman and the Aquamarines, guest-starring Amethyst. I wonder if they'll write Kinetix in. Her costume is KINDA aquamarine... But re: Justice League: Future's End YAY!! WILDFIRE!!! (let's just hope this event isn't used as a clearing house to wipe out the Legion Lost team...) Cool! Would be great to see Wildfire again. Fingers crossed.

Brian Azzerello at C2E2 today talking about Keith Giffen's work on Future's End:
"Who knew Keith was such an angry disturbed old man?" Azz joked.
Um, Azz, ask a Legion fan. Writing comics while passing kidney stones is never good. I mean, that's gotta be it, right? Or hemmoroids?

Is anyone else a bit cynical about this? The Legion hasn't really been given proper exposure since the Nu52. I hope they are used well here.

I'm not sure they're capable of doing much of anything well, I'm afraid. I can only hope it's not ruined.

I am cautiously optimistic. With two or three issues of Futures End (depending on whether Steve Lightle's legion makes it into Booster Gold or not) together with the JLU Annual that's three or four issues in less than two months. DC seem to be trying to find a way back for the Legion.

DC seem to be trying to find a way back for the Legion. That's easy. Publish a Legion book, picking up roughly where it left off and put a decent writer on it. That's not to say that Levitz wasn't, just that every book should have one.

I haven't been reading "FE" but Newsarama had some article about the future Superman who's face is hidden. They mention that he's much more direct than the Superman we know and he's almost a jerk. Now looking at this: Could it be ..... WILDFIRE?!? Yeah, probably not.(the energy sig's more Shazam than Drake, and Billy Batson would be the right age to be an obnoxious teen (or a *more* obnoxious teen...) at that point) I know Wildfire's on the cover of the JLA Future's End cover, but that might not mean anything.... he might have two suits- his regular one, and his Superman suit. Far fetched, I know....

Nice idea though. Remember how powerful his original Wildfire suit was.

Saw this on Facebook just now... https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd....8146056_65fe86141adc8014935651da2087bb21What I don't know is if the Legion team shown here is the same Legion team that will appear in the Justice League United annual. Dawnstar is in her old costume, but her costume on the cover of JLU 1 is different.

Yeah, and Yera (top right corner) and Tyroc (left of Mon-El's cape) are in their old costumes too. that's why I noted that I don't know if this is the same Legion that will appear in JLU.

Well, this picture is five-sixths of the 2-page splash ad for Justice League United Annual #1. So maybe it will actually be this team who appears in the book. And you're right, the Dawnstar in the splash pic is costumed differently than the one who appears in Justice League United #1.

You are correct in your guess that it was Billy, not Wildfire. They reveled it in Future's End a few weeks ago.
