Every time I've seen that poster, my mind exploded with all the characters on it.
I seem to recall - Saturn Girl, urk, and...? Persuader?

Gosh! I wasn't expecting to see 2 of the 3 characters guessed so quickly.
Saturn Girl and Urk are indeed correct. The last character is not individually named but is simply there as a representative of an alien race. I'll give a clue if no one looks like they're going to get it.

No one's guessed the race yet.
FWIW, I had never heard of this race before I looked at the key for this question, though I do recognise it from the Reboot.

Still no correct.
The creature is described as -
"A [name of planet] being".
So I guess there was never a collective name (like 'Earthling' or 'Sklarian') for beings from that planet.

^ As mentioned above, the figure is listed as: "A [name of planet] being". So if it was a Brain Globe, it would say: "A Rambat being". It's not a Brain Globe.

Clue time:
I have no idea how this race/planet was presented in the Preboot, but a member of the race came across as quite shifty in the one and only time I remember seeing them in the Reboot (quite early on as I recall).

I have some ideas as to which race that is, but I have no idea what planet that race is from.

More clues:
* This character was identified in the 'Friends and Foes' section of the poster guide. Not being familiar with it's Preboot appearance, I don't know whether it was a 'friend' or 'foe'.
* Googling the planet tells me that it actually turned up quite a few times during the Reboot. I must have blanked all those appearances out because I only remember one specific scene featuring one of these beings.
* The planet has a Roman numeral after it, like 'Talok VIII'.

Were those little costume makers ever in the preboot?

The Athramites were a Postboot invention as far as I know.
No one's got it yet.
Clue: If you add one letter to the end of the planet this creature comes from's name, you will have the first name of a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

The planet La, the musical planet The planet Sal, where normal hard working folks come from. The planet Nu, where DC Nu was first thought of. The planet Ayl, the quarantine planet The planet Gi, where people go to exclaim from the mountains. The planet Rok, the stony planet for hill walkers. The planet Blo, vice haven of the galaxy. The planet Tiny, colonised by the Imskians. The planet J, part of the Legion/Starship Troopers crossover event. The planet Bri, home of the Cheese Eaters of Many Worlds deli. The planet Po, where dark tales of horror are read in it's perpetual twilight. The planet Dawnsta - DC stereotype two cultures for the price of one. The planet Ka - where the souls of the dead go. The planet Mys - where it's very hard to land. The planet Kar, with its poisonous clouds of motorised fumes. The planet Dir and it's twin Drak, the least popular tourist resorts in the galaxy

"Drak" actually sounds vaguely familiar as a planet, but I have no idea what kind of beings would be from there.
