dial up! a dream! we just get someone from the village to shout loudly from the hill. If we're lucky, a passing magic lantern man will hear the words and go off to one of those big places... towns I think they're called. It's all beyond me at that point.
The nearest town must be some 10 miles away. I'd love to travel one day...

If you mean general coastline, then, no, the US coastline is only about 20,000 km. If you mean the whole tidal shoreline (including all the indentations, islands and such), it's over 140,000 km.
