Oops, looked like I stalled the thread!

Let's switch it around then.

In the Postboot Legion task force which fought Mordru,

The ex-Legionnaire was Andromeda;

the 8 non-Legionnaires were:

Kid Quantum II
Monstress
(both future Legionnaires)
Blast-Off
Atom'x
(both halves of a future Legionnaire)
Lady Mysa
Dragonmage
Radion
Particon

Now, name the 12 active Legionnaires who were with them in battle.

Are you really counting Vi as "Active"?! [Well, you must be, between saying 12 and thoth having eight correct, when B5 & Ultra Boy were in the 20th century at the "time" and you already pointed out Monstress & KQ2]

M'Onel
Live Wire
Magno
Sensor
Chameleon
XS
Star Boy
Kinetix
Umbra
Invisible Kid
Element Lad
Shrinking Violet

Yes, I am. The way she acted during that time would count and she's in the roll call on L*51.

Goes without saying, but over to you.

(Boy, that M'Onel smilie is hard to figure out - it needs to be spelled "MOnel1")

That would be a horrible first question if so wink

Because that's a yes...

After the Blight invasion was stopped, the Legionnaires had to deal with a rift that threatened to swallow the Solar System. Which 2 Legionnaires (who had been active members during the Blight invasion) were absent from dealing with the rift?

You realise I was trying to tease the words "Composite Man" out of you, ja?

You COULD have asked for a more specific answer tongue

So, how do we do this? Why not ask another question then?

{Off tangent, but we have the Composite Man and Leejah. Was the 3rd Durlan living weapon the one who fought the Legion/sacrificed himself to restart time during the Dark Circle story?"

How about I just say "Star Boy & Thunder" to simplify matters? smile [He was off to Xanthu with Dreamer & co, she said the (wrong!) magic word and headed back to the 90th century]

No, that was the Composite Man himself. I *think* the other one died without getting a name when Leejah was freed, but I'd have to check.

That works too wink Sorry for missing the point. Have been sleep-deprived last couple days.

Thanks 'Boot! Over to you.

There WAS one who died when Leejah was freed, though I remember being unsure at the time if it was a Composite Durlan or merely a Durlan acolyte/guard. Because the one who died had the coordinates to the asteroid where Leejah was held it seems more likely it's the 3rd Composite Durlan. The Dark Circle sure did sloppy work, as freeing the 2 others was their main objective.

Given everything said, which Legionnaire spent the third longest continuous time from joining in service of the team in the postboot?

Hmmm. If we're counting the one-year period of Legion Lost as time spent in service... Triad?

Yep! I did phrase it carefully smile - I count everyone except M'Onel, Kinetix, Spark, Star Boy, XS, Karate Kid, Ferro, Thunder and Apparition of the pre-Lost lineup as being continuous over the year, given the revelations in Worlds #3 and The Legion #3.

[Although, actually, it's still true even if you don't count the Lost year - either way, the top five are 1= Cos, Saturn Girl; 3. Triad, 4= Lyle, Cham. The only change cutting the team @ Rifts makes to that is to add XS to that last grouping.]

I just thought it amusing that Triad was #3 Triad Your go.

I'd often thought about the continuous service thing as well, and I would also have counted the Lost Legionnaires and the portion of the team with Brande as having served as Legionnaires over that one-year period smile (Great minds).

In the Preboot formation of the Fatal Five, Superboy got the Emerald Empress; Karate Kid got Validus; Cosmic Boy got Tharok; Princess Projectra got Persuader; and Ferro Lad got Mano.

In the Postboot, name the 5 pairs of Legionnaires who went to fetch each member of the Fatal Five.

Let's make this easier.

Here are the 10 Legionnaires you have to match to the 5 members of the Fatal Five:

Cosmic Boy
Saturn Girl
Triad
Chameleon
Invisible Kid
Leviathan
Spark
Shrinking Violet
Gates
Star Boy

Leviathan and Chameleon got Empress.
Gates and Invisible Kid got Tharok.
Star Boy and Shrinking Violet got Mano.
Cosmic Boy and Triad got the Persuader.
Saturn Girl and Spark got Validus.

Love that issue/period. Can't believe how unsure I am of my guesses.

You may be unsure, but you have all but 2 Legionnaires correct! You just have to switch 2 of them and you'll win this Q.

I love that period toogetting there in the Postboot reread thread, why don't you join us Blacula?

I pop into that thread occasionally IB, but I'm hoping to do a big re-read of all my comics sometime soon so am trying to forget as much as I can about them in order to restore some of the element of surprise. smile
