www.rappler.comI go there mainly to read my fave comic strip Pugad Baboy, which only appears online and sadly, can only be understood by those who speak Filipino. But it's a very good representation of Filipino humor. SAPBM, Favorite comfort food?

I used to want to be on the Amazing Race, but then I a) don't fancy rushing from place to place without being able to enjoy the sights; and b) it's not as good a springboard for a career as some other shows.
I'd go with American Idol instead.
SAPBM,
If you could be Olympic-level good at one sport, which would it be?

I really, really, really want to say ski jumping but I've got to be more practical everyday and say distance running. There's a reason those Kenyens are always smiling after running 26 and change: there's a real freedom and grace to hitting stride that I'd love to feel for more than a minute.

Hmmm, I don't think it would go that far in today's world. I'd like to contribute it to some kind of research though, make my money stretch as far as it can.

I should have specified better. What type of research would you invest in? Cure for cancer? Space exploration? Renewable energy?
I would give the million to increase education in third world countries.
SAPBM,
If you had a $1 million to spend on yourself, what would you spend it on?
PS: I know IB would spend it on traveling

Quislet is right, I WOULD spend it traveling. But since I travel cheaply, I'd set some (maybe half) aside to invest so I could sustain my travels for a much longer period of time + keep my money growing for retirement.
SAPBM,
If you could have one super power in real life, which would you pick?

Immortality. Take your pick from Immortal Man, Vandal Savage or the characters kept forever young by idea bereft comics companies.

Light powers. With them I can fly, shield myself, defend myself, and most importantly - travel long distances in a snap while keeping myself from being seen. The world would be my oyster SAPBM, If you could live in one fictional world/universe, which one would you pick?

The world would be my oyster Hey! that's two powers! Light powers and turning planets into Oysters! I'd pick the [REBOOTED] fictional [REBOOTED] world [REBOOTED] right that's it DC. You're out! Marvel just hunt mutants. Ultiverse has Galactus and I never seem to have biscuits in when he calls round. Mega City...no...maybe not... it dawns on me that I've never read a happy ending in my life...Discworld! It's brutal and unpleasant but at least it has a sense of humour. Superman. Batman, Wolverine, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, Iron Man, or any other well known superhero. What one thing would you change about said superhero that would make them better?

Wolverine. I'd tone down his ridiculous healing factor. The element of danger is largely absent from his stories because he can survive pretty much anything.

I think that's a good idea. Can be used to indicate public perception on the current crop of politicians.

In my experience, the locals seem generally the same - customs aside, they are just going about their everyday lives. The other travelers are too, in comparison to many travelers I know from around here - same curious and adventurous personalities.
SAPBM,
What has been your favorite experience abroad?

All ages answer: probably getting myself smuggled from Sandakan to Jolo and the following explanation at immigration in Manilla as to why I needed a visa TO LEAVE the country. I'm not a good story teller but that story usually tells well and it's kind of unique. All-time, well this was the time at the Copenhagen Youth Hostel...

If you had to come up with a story about a Copenhagen Youth Hostel that would shock and astound friends, what would it be?

Well, there would have to be a stairwell landing, loss of impulse control, and a redhead from Oz. Other than that, I'm not saying.

Never considered that. I think imagining what things would look like, I'd go with green. Green is a soothing and natural color to me.
