Alan Scott doesn't really count as that sort of Green Lantern, but the rings certainly do seem to have a preference for Earth dudes, and, more often than probability would suggest, white Earth dudes. Typical. you don't hear from aliens in years, and yet later the same day Abin Sur crashed... "Hal Jordan. My mystic pointy hood has picked you to join us ..join us in the Kosmic Krimson Klan." Abin Sur's ring decided not to tell Hal about not killing things until later. "Oh no," it said. "I have to explain it to you before the restriction kicks in. Honest. Don't feel bad about that other guy." The Kosmic Krimson Klan. Monthly from DC... the people nearly gave us the Black Bomber.

Didn't Anti-Lad use glasses for his power?
The one's I like on the list
Characters but not members.
April Dumaka (Catspaw) Danielle Foccart (Computo II) 3 Sussa Paka (Spider Girl, Wave) 1 Gear (I.Z.O.R.) 2 Monstress (Candi Pyponte-Le Parc III)
Members. Britta An'nan (Kono) Richard Kent Shakespeare (Impulse) One without the other wouldn't work for me. Andromeda (Laurel Gand) Prefer Supergirl. Definitely NOT the nun. Kid Quantum (Jazmin Cullen)3 Gazelle (Giselle Smith)

re alien Legionnaires/heroes, from a writer'sperspective it's a mixed bag. I suppose some writers would love tossing in zany ideas about these characters' beliefs, homeworlds etc. but others would struggle to make them relatable. Would be great to pull more in though. Besides the likes of Gates, Blok, Tellus, Quislet, how about Lume and Babbage for a start?

I added in your top three Dev-Em and Blockade Boy.
Babbage! I forgot about him. I'm re-reading Post ZH now and haven't gotten up to him.

Sadly, we never did get to see Babbage in action. Nor fellow cadet Amp Girl. Retro used his power in a non-combat situation. The only PostZH cadets who we actually saw in combat were Nightwind and Infectious Lass, both of whom did quite well Btw Wanglung, Shouldn't Kinetix be at 2 (or 3, depending on how Dev's vote is counted)? My 3 in my first post were Kinetix, Jazmin and Gear: This would make a nice poll, Wang Lung!
As someone who grew up with the Postboot I'll definitely go for Kinetix and Kid Quantum II, both among my all time faves. Monsteras is another fave but her powers aren't unique, so I will pass her up in favor of Gear. Dragonmage is a close fourth though either Mysa or Glorith could also return. While Man of Valor picked Kinetix, Andromeda and Thunder. As someone else who became heavily interested in the Legion during their Postboot run, all my choices are from that grouping. My choices would be Kinetix, Andromeda, and Thunder (who I thought was a very interesting expansion of the Shazam mythos)

Well as per the original post, I'm going with top 3. Since he didn't give 3 I went with the top three of his list.
@Dev-Em and Blockade Boy, if you want to give me the top three from your lists, I’ll be glad to change the numbers.

Yeah, I thought you didn't count Kinetix for Dev since he had more than three. But both Man of Valor and I put Kinetix in our Top 3 so she'd be at 2 now, right? She's only 1 on the first page (sorry Kinetix is my favorite Legionnaire so I pay special attention to her standing when we have polls and stuff :p)

I, for one, would LOVE to see Shikari come back to the Legion in one shape (or form) or another! Although I love Dawnstar, I found Shikari's personality a lot more endearing. I also really liked the whole exo-skeleton in times of space travel and combat thing she had going for her!

There's a scene at the end of v3 where Dawnstar is using nets to capture crooks. Everyone had costume "upgrades" and I thought that was where they were going with Dawnstar. I thought she would get an upgrade in her ability to take out crooks. But it didn't come to anything. Neither did Bounty in the 5YG really.
I still can't believe her closest colleagues didn't recognise her, or just ask her anything. But then, it took them long enough with Salu...
Anyway, I'd have to go with Dawnstar over Shikari, as good as that analogue was.

Are you using Internet Explorer, WangLung? A lot of us have had trouble editing posts while using that. Google Chrome (and some other browsers) don't give that kind of problem. I still can't believe her closest colleagues didn't recognise her, or just ask her anything. But then, it took them long enough with Salu...

I don't know if it's too big of a post or what but I can't edit or add it in later. I don't understand why it' suddenly doing it.

The post seems to be working again.
@Leather Wolf, do you have any choices from the list? The list is characters from other versions of the Legion.
